My once in a lifetime trip to the United Arab Emirates has come to an end. During my trip, I completed the following: Dubai: Atlantis Aquaventure water park and aquarium Aura Skypool Burj Khalifa At the Top Platinum experience Burj Khalifa fountain shows Dubai Mall Dubai Metro (monorail) rides Dubai Miracle Garden Global Village Mall of the Emirates Museum of the Future Storm Coaster Swimming in Palm Jumeriah Universal Studios sign pics Abu Dhabi: Disneyland Abu Dhabi site pics Ferrari World Hilton Yas Island dinner buffet Hilton Yas Island pool day SeaWorld Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Team Lab Phenomena Warner Bros World Yas Mall Yas Waterworld The first time I heard the word “Dubai” was 2008, and I’ve wanted to go ever since then. I still can’t fathom the fact that I finally made it 18 years later. I cried when I landed and multiple times during the trip (especially Ferrari World and SeaWorld) because I finally made it to my highest dream destination of all time! Besides a couple of closed rides, a minor hiccup with the laundry machine at one of the hotels, wrong turns that added lots of extra times to my routes, and crazy drivers who almost killed me in roundabouts, this vacation was everything I wanted to be. I accomplished everything I wanted to do, and no war was going to stop that. While most people get a four park ticket for the Yas Island parks, I’m very happy that I bought the gold Yas Annual Pass. It gave me much more flexibility, and lots of discounts! I was originally planning to not tell anyone I’m from America, due to the regional situation going on right now. However, I did become much more comfortable with telling people. Everyone was so welcoming, and so happy to meet someone from there, since mostly locals have been here since the war started. One person even told me “I can’t remember the last time an American was here.” people gave me extra discounts, free food, and free gifts! Safety was no concern for me. I felt safer in the Emirates than I do in America. There was a shelter in place order during my visit, but everything proceeded as normal, and I didn’t feel like I was in any danger. Nothing closed during the shelter order. I hope you all enjoyed my post about the United Arab Emirates as much as I enjoy posting them and informing you guys know how the trip is going. Tonight @Hey_Muldoon and I are eating at Predalina! This is an upscale, expensive restaurant in Downtown Tampa but we’re actually eating here for FREE! It’s part of the Sapphire Tables program so we both get a $150 credit!

Tonight @kbrewFL and I are eating at Predalina restaurant in downtown Tampa. It’s a very expensive place and normally fancy for my picky tastes, but it’s FREE with our Chase Sapphire Reserve cards!

All of the bathrooms stalls are completely private here. I haven’t seen a restaurant like this.

Here’s how it happened: 1. Kevin got the card first, then inspired me to get it. 2. He told me that there are some restaurants that are FREE with the card. ($150 every six months). 3. I looked it up and there were 4 restaurants in the Tampa/St Pete area and 4 in the Orlando area. All are privately owned and not chains (so no Outback, Texas Roadhouse, etc). We’ll do an Orlando location later this year. 4. I chose the date and he agreed.
