The full speaker lineup for Decasonic’s 5th Annual Web3 Investor Day is here.
On July 23, Decasonic, Bridge Alternatives (@bridgealts) , VanEck (@vaneck_us), and New Form Capital (@newformcapital) will convene investors, founders, allocators, operators, and institutional leaders at Willis Tower during TechChicago Week (@GoTechChicago).
This year’s theme: Investing in Adoption.
As Web3 enters its next phase, the conversation is shifting from experimentation to real usage across AI, tokenization, stablecoins, market structure, and internet-native financial infrastructure.

@theghost1623 If you’re building something of your own, how can you be a founding engineer for another Tech company.
Seems like CEO made the right call.

Got rejected at an SF-based YC startup for a $150K on-site role after clearing all technical rounds. Lost in the culture round.
Round 1: Cold email to CTO. Got a reply in hours.
Round 2: Technical call with CTO. Mixed LLD/HLD, AI pipeline architecture, RAG systems, multi-agent design. Went deep, felt solid.
Round 3: Culture round with the CEO. He asked what I want to build and what is lacking for me to get there.
Verdict: Rejected.
Maybe they were looking for someone already convicted on their specific mission. I am convinced on mine. Still building Enclave, still figuring out the right problem space, never stopping.
Different fit. Not the end.
Ape is not happy. Ape will build.
If anyone is hiring for Founding AI Engineer roles, happy to chat.

#Egypt can knock out #Argentina today.
But #Fifa doesn’t want this for viewership purposes.
#Egypt won’t be allowed to go to next round.

Love seeing this heartfelt note about our Delivery Service Partner, Ronald Dubon and team...
—
Sometimes, the smallest hearts remind the biggest companies what kindness truly looks like. When a four-year-old boy dreamed of having an Amazon-themed birthday party—complete with the thrill of seeing a real delivery van—no one could have imagined that Amazon itself would make that dream come true. Despite being one of the largest and busiest companies in the world, Amazon found the time, heart, and humanity to show up in a deeply personal way.
On short notice, they didn’t just send one delivery van—they brought two: a classic Amazon delivery van and a cutting-edge electric model. Their team arrived with smiles, good spirits, and arms full of gifts, turning a simple backyard celebration into a once-in-a-lifetime memory. Every child got to climb behind the wheel, honk the horn, and pretend to be an Amazon driver for a day. The laughter, joy, and awe on their faces said everything words could not.
In a world where large corporations often feel distant, Amazon proved that compassion and community still matter. Their thoughtful gesture—done not for publicity, but from genuine goodwill—brought magic to a young boy’s birthday and touched every heart in attendance.
It was a powerful reminder that even the biggest companies are made up of people who care, and their unexpected generosity should never go unnoticed. Thank you, Amazon, for showing that behind every box and logo lies a company capable of incredible kindness.

Few conversations are as important – or as difficult – as those we might find ourselves having with ageing parents, siblings or even close friends about living well in older age. Here's how to make them count.
