USN TRACKING: Tripoli ARG & Potential Interdiction
Operating to the SE of Ras Al Hadd (~178km), we can also identify elements of the Tripoli Amphibious Ready Group.
🔸Spotted the USS Tripoli (LHA-7) operating with the USS Rushmore (LSD-47) and 1x Arleigh Burke escort.
🔸Imagery shows the Rushmore closely trailing what appears to be a large container/cargo vessel.
🔸Given the current US blockade parameters and the presence of the 31st MEU, could we be looking at an active interdiction or boarding operation in progress?

Sentinel imagery from today (Apr 26) gives us a clear look at the US Navy's heavy containment footprint off the coast of Oman.
🔸Spotted CSG-3, centered on the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), operating alongside 3x Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.
🔸CSG holding station in the Northern Arabian Sea, approximately 140km east of Ras Al Hadd.

Starbucks got hammered for its “customers only” bathroom policy, so they made a big deal of saying all are welcome to use their restrooms. That quickly turned their restrooms into homeless drug dens. NSF DIEGO GARCIA: UPDATE Sentinel 2 from today (Apr 17) provides a look at the volume of assets currently staging out of NSF Diego Garcia 🔸Pierside, we have an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer. 🔸In the lagoon, sealift ship USNS Pililaau (T-AKR 304) is at anchor 🔸Most notably, an Independence Class LCS is also in the lagoon. Highly likely to be the USS Tulsa (LCS-16) stopping for logistics, though the USS Canberra (LCS-30) is another possibility (which we haven't seen since Epic Fury kicked off) 🔸South Ramp is busy. Spotting at least 4x fighters, 3x heavy transports, 4x refueling tankers, and what appears to be a P-8 Poseidon for ISR. 🔸Tucked near the hangars is a C-130 variant. The placement suggests it might be an AC-130, but will need higher res imagery to confirm (h/t @vcdgf555)

UPDATE: There are 4 minesweeping ships in the US Navy, 2 in Japan and 2 are en route to the CENTCOM/5th Fleet (may already be in the AOR).
There are 3 Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) with mine countermeasures modules (MCM) assigned to CENTCOM/5th Fleet with only 1, the USS Canberra (LCS 30), likely in the region. The other 2, USS Tulsa (LCS 16) and USS Santa Barbara (LCS 32), were last spotted in the Malacca Strait heading back towards CENTCOM.

Senator Murphy’s post saying “awesome” to a report that Iranian ships were able to evade the blockade - meant to be sarcastic or not – is certainly not helpful to the overall cause. This regime has slaughtered 45,000 of its own citizens, is dripping with American blood and has been and continues to be the largest state sponsor of terrorism on the planet. When the regime calls for the extinction of Israel and Jewish people and chant Death to America, they mean it. USN TRACKING: Boxer ARG Progress
Checking in on the transit of the USS Boxer Amphibious Ready Group.
Imagery from April 19 captures the USS Boxer (LHD-4) and what appears to be the USS Comstock (LSD-45) approaching Apra Harbor, Guam.
They departed Pearl Harbor back on April 1.
The three week transit from Hawaii indicates that the ARG likely conducted exercises en route.
If they are still going to @centcom, they don't seem to be in any sort of hurry
