The last tanker of jet fuel from the Middle East to the UK arrives Thursday. After that: Nothing. Worth noting that the UK normally has 8 Middle Eastern jet fuel cargoes in transit at any time. Now, this is the last one. Jet fuel prices are already double pre-war levels & industry experts say airlines will start feeling the squeeze by end of April. The government says "book your summer holidays as normal." That advice is going to age very badly.

We don’t mind who supports our club, as long as they align with our values. Love the club like we do and you’re seen as one of us. Forcing division over ex players opinions is mental. And for the record, if you can’t appreciate what @Carra23 done for LFC, you certainly don’t see the game like we do. A top fella who does all sorts for local charities and supports many local businesses. A hero to many of us, but you’d never know it if you bumped into him coz he’s as grounded as they come. Two weeks ago we had solar panels and a battery fitted. We have just completed our first full week with the system. Our electric bill for the week commencing 10th March 2026 compared to the same week last year has dropped by 71% from £31.71 to £9.05. We also have not received our DNO cert yet which would allow us to sell back into the grid. On sunny days our battery has been full by 11:30am meaning we don’t yet benefit from the excess free energy being produced. We are now going to buy an electric car and fill it with free energy. If only all of the UK could do this, it would go along way to reducing the countries high energy costs. @octopusenergy @g__j

In the UK most houses could have all of their power supplied by Solar Panels for 2/3rds of year If we had done this we would already be almost completely fossil fuel free The panels last 40-60 years, the batteries cost £500 and last for 15 years It's basically free electricity
