I wonder if this bug that hits people for around 2 weeks is what they're changing algorithms for? I've seen people from all over the country speaking about it. Not too scary but steadily tired, and the nighttime sinus aches with hot/cold flashes feels a lot like a few years ago.

Something the YouTube algorithm doesn't want shared quickly will likely happen soon. They changed the search function to exclude ordering videos by date, this makes current things hard to find/share. Last time they removed that function was when they started purging 💉 "disinfo".

While I usually opt out of censoring people, any openly malicious person should be blocked/muted from your pages. Especially when they're trying to inflict actual harm or stress.

Has any politician suggested fixing the Visa problem by just mandating the jobs be paid at or above the average wage in the field? Then there's no price incentive to hire them vs native populations, and if someone is exceptional enough to get one, pay them what they are worth.

Badges can give big egos and with no reflection/criticism bubbles are forming and ignorance is growing. X is starting to feel like infinite milgram experiments, with paid incentives.

Twitter is nearly as much of a blue check circle jerk as it was before Elon with new "rightwing" gatekeepers. Without paying, you're pretty much invisible, even verified people have 3rd rail topics, and tribal talking points. Insta isn't much better, and 9/10 likes are porn bots.

For those worried about "drones", a LOT of rich folks waiting to be George Jetsons got the FAA to start approving stuff last year. Many startups, with a few already testing their production line models. Then there's likely military versions of each.

I would not issue my 54 year old crackhead son a blanket pardon for any and all federal crimes committed in the period of a decade. Sheltering your children from the rightful consequences of their actions -- especially when they're adults -- means that you are preventing them from becoming virtuous people.
