Nunca he sido tan feliz como hoy, porque acabo de cumplir un sueño. Tras más de siete años de arduo trabajo, puedo anunciar a bombo y platillo que mi novela, 𝑪𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒔 𝒅𝒆 𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒐 𝒚 𝒃𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒐, verá la luz el 14 de junio.

En la antigua Grecia, las mujeres tenían prohibido estudiar medicina, hasta que alguien rompió la ley. Un día Hagnódica se cortó el pelo y entró en la facultad de medicina de Alejandría vestida de hombre. Mientras caminaba por las calles de Atenas tras completar sus estudios de medicina, oyó los gritos de una mujer de parto. Sin embargo, la mujer no quería que Hagnódica la tocara, a pesar del intenso dolor, porque creía que Hagnódica era un hombre. Hagnódica demostró su identidad femenina desnudándose y ayudando a la mujer a dar a luz. La historia pronto se extendió entre las mujeres, y todas las enfermas comenzaron a acudir a Hagnódica. Los médicos varones, envidiosos, acusaron a Hagnódica, a quien creían hombre, de seducir a sus pacientes En su juicio, Hagnódica compareció ante el tribunal y demostró su identidad femenina, pero esta vez fue condenada a muerte por estudiar y ejercer la medicina siendo mujer. Las mujeres se rebelaron contra la sentencia, especialmente las esposas de los jueces que la habían condenado a muerte. Algunos decían que si Hagnódica moría, morirían con ella. Incapaces de soportar la presión de sus esposas y otras mujeres, los jueces anularon la condena de Hagnódica , y a partir de entonces, las mujeres pudieron ejercer la medicina, siempre y cuando solo atendieran a mujeres. Así, Hagnódica dejó su huella en la historia como la primera médica, ginecóloga y especialista en medicina griega. Esta placa que representa a Hagnódica trabajando fue excavada en Ostia, Italia.

An open letter to YouTube. We need to talk. Creators are waking up to terminated channels, wiped revenues, and years of work gone overnight. No warning. No explanation. No appeal that actually works. So on behalf of every creator who has ever put their life into this platform, here are our demands. 1. Tell us WHY. A termination email with zero context is not a policy. If you are going to end someone's livelihood, the least you can do is explain what they actually did wrong. 2. Fix the appeals process. Right now appealing a strike feels like shouting into a void. An automated rejection in 24 hours is not a review. We want real humans making real decisions. 3. Stop punishing whole channels for one video. One bad upload should not erase five years of content. Strike the video. Don't delete the creator. 4. Give us a warning before termination. A strike system exists for a reason. Use it. Creators should not be going from zero issues to fully terminated with no steps in between. 5. Be transparent about what is changing. Every few months the rules quietly shift and channels start disappearing. Tell us what changed. We are not mind readers. 6. Protect the creators who built this platform. YouTube would not exist without creators. The people losing their channels right now are not bad actors. Many of them are the reason people still open the app. We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking to be treated like partners, not liabilities. Reply if you agree.

I’m tired of pretending this is just “part of being a creator.” 24 days ago YouTube demonetized my channel and since then my life has genuinely been falling apart. This wasn’t some extra side income. My family depended on this. My mom depended on this. I made my own character. My own stories. My own ideas. I spent years building something I was proud of. Now all of that gets reduced to two words: “inauthentic content.” No real explanation. No actual human response. Just copy pasted replies while I sit here trying to understand what the hell I supposedly did wrong. Do people understand what this does to someone mentally? I can’t sleep properly anymore. I barely eat. Every day feels like panic the second I wake up. I keep checking my emails hoping maybe this time there’ll finally be a real answer. And the worst part is watching my family slowly realize I might not be able to fix this. I saw my mom crying recently because she thought I didn’t notice. That completely destroyed me. People online talk about “creator economy” like it’s some dream life, but the reality is one automated system can wipe out years of work overnight and nobody is even required to explain why. If my content was truly violating policy, then SHOW ME. Show me the videos. Show me the problem.
