A Different Path to Sustainable Value on Sui
I've been following what @funkii is building with @mission69b on Sui, and it strikes me as one of the more thoughtful and forward-looking efforts in the space right now.
He stepped away from a 15-year career, put meaningful personal capital to work, including 3% of the MANIFEST supply, and has been executing quietly, without relying on the usual funding rounds or hype cycles. Just conviction, skin in the game, and steady progress.
What interests me is how mission69b is approaching things differently from the traditional crypto playbook. Instead of the familiar pattern of raising capital through token sales, promising hype and hoping for speculation, this feels like a deliberate attempt to build a self-sustaining ecosystem where real utility and economic activity come first. An ecosystem where value can compound naturally over time.
Here’s a closer look at the protocols I find to be most interesting and what makes each one stand out as potentially different:
Audric (@audricai) isn’t just another DeFi interface. It’s a conversational AI finance application that lets you interact in plain language; “show me my yield” “swap this to SUI” or “pay my team”, and then executes the on-chain actions seamlessly. The groundbreaking piece is how it lowers the barrier to on-chain finance dramatically, making sophisticated tools feel as natural as texting. Powered by the T2000 stack, it’s an early glimpse of finance that meets people where they actually are.
T2000 (@t2000ai) is the foundational layer. An agentic finance operating system that gives AI agents their own non-custodial wallets on Sui. Tide (@tidedotam) rethinks capital formation for projects that already have product-market fit. Instead of the repeated token sales that dilute early holders and misalign incentives, it enables revenue-share arrangements. Teams get non-dilutive runway to grow, while the ecosystem potentially receives real, sustainable revenue streams. It’s a quiet but important shift away from the “raise and speculate” model that has dominated for years.
What ties it all together is the way these protocols are designed to connect. Individually, each solves a real problem in a fresh way. Collectively, they form an ecosystem where activity, growth, and value capture from any protocol amplifies each other, and eventually also trickles down and flow into MANIFEST.
It’s structured in spirit almost alike a digital asset treasury. Not as a promise of immediate mechanics or timelines, but as an architecture where real activity at the protocol level naturally nourishes the broader token over time.
In a world full of short-term noise and extractive models, this patient, product-first approach feels like discovering a different path: one where building genuine economic infrastructure on Sui can create sustainable value that accrues back to the ecosystem rather than being extracted early.
