This week, Homeward officially submitted our community's annual funding application to @HUDgov. Thank you to the service providers, partners, leaders, and volunteers who shared their expertise and made this application possible.

The Homeward team is thrilled to announce that Amy Croll has joined our staff as Community Engagement Coordinator! Amy brings a wealth of experience working with youth, community organizations, and cross-systems partnerships. Please welcome Amy to the team!

It's hot out there! The Polk County Emergency Management Agency Extreme Temperature Plan will be in effect through Friday, August 25. All DMPL locations are serving as cooling centers during open hours, and @ridedart will be providing free rides to cooling centers.
