The ladies from the Namabu SACCO were so happy to receive the Ugx 30 million entitled to them from the Parish Community Association (PCA) which has 10 groups. Thank you @OPMUganda @KaboyoAlice @MoLGUganda for making this possible.

It is with deep sorrow that I announce the death of our brother Gen. Moses Ali. He died today at Nakasero Hospital, at 1600 hours. Gen Moses Ali has provided service to his country for a long time, as a soldier and a political leader. In the West Nile region, he provided the good example of being a big modern farmer. We shall miss greatly his contribution. May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace.

This afternoon, I presided over the graduation of 21 officers who completed the National Security and Strategic Studies Course at the National Defence College in Buikwe district. I congratulate them and urge them to provide strategic leadership in safeguarding our country’s security and development. To build a strong centre of gravity for Africa, we must strengthen our defence capabilities on land, in the air, at sea and in space. At the same time, we must prioritise wealth creation because prosperity is the foundation of security. I wish them good luck.

Thank you brother but we are Protected by the Holy Spirit Bro , and the Chief of defense forces General @mkainerugaba has secured all of us .

@BalaamBarugahar bino byontandise, you need more security. I doubt if that one soldier is going to be enough. You are doing a great job and for us local people, we are grateful, but corrupt people are deadly. Also, don’t eat any food anywhere, Pack your own food from Home. Don’t even drink mineral water at your office, even if it is sealed. The corrupt are not sole criminals, they work in cartels, this is organized crime and if you keep digging, you may find that the money for the Bulambuli roads that was stolen ended up with some big people in Kampala.

Together with my fellow ministers @HonMutasingwa @millybabalanda and @HajjatMinsa, we undertook an urgent fact-finding mission on a piece of land in Buikwe district that had caused a security issue. As investigations continue, we agreed that Police should maintain the statusquo and all private individuals masquerading as security agents on the land should be arrested and prosecuted.

The Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Hon.@JudithNabakoob1 , the Minister for the Presidency, Hon.@millybabalanda , and the Minister for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs, Hon. @HajjatMinsa , joined us in Bamugaya village, Najjembe Division, Buikwe District, for an engagement on land disputes. Also in attendance were the Resident District Commissioners (RDCs), local leaders, security officials, and other stakeholders. This engagement followed concerns over increasing insecurity arising from two disputed pieces of land involving family members and members of the community, while also affecting some of our investors. As investigations continue, we remain committed to ensuring these matters are handled accordingly and resolved peacefully. I reiterate that land disputes should never be allowed to escalate into insecurity or create fear among our citizens. I sincerely thank our Honorable Ministers for working closely with us and the community leadership to ensure that these matters are addressed amicably.
