Today, at State House, Entebbe, I welcomed a delegation from Al Mansour Holdings led by Mr. Umar Bchinnati, who brought a message from Sheikh Mansour bin Jabor. We discussed areas where Uganda and Qatar could cooperate, especially value addition through fruit processing, starch, coffee, pharmaceuticals, energy, and logistics. Uganda has the resources, market, and people. What we need are more partnerships that bring capital, technology, and equipment to create jobs and transform our economy. I welcome this collaboration and look forward to strengthening our ties with Qatar.

Since PLU has expanded immesurabely in just 3 years because of our popularity with Ugandans. I shall open a second office, just for the Chairman PLU. Hon.Kabanda will run it on my behalf.

This will serve as a gateway of all medical logistics during emergency and humanitarian responses on the African Continent. National Medical Stores and the strategic logistics hub in Entebbe are becoming critical regional assets, supporting the rapid movement of laboratory equipment, medicines, personal protective equipment, vaccines and other essential commodities. These facilities will continue supporting Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other Member States, ensuring that lifesaving supplies reach frontline responders quickly and efficiently. #MOHatWork
