When you combine a religious foundation with the fact that he actually delivered tangible results in the digital economy, you get a level of respect that a typical career politician just can’t touch. That "technocrat" edge is exactly what the younger, more educated generation is looking for right now. They want someone who understands how the world works in this era, not just someone who knows how to navigate the old political machines. By focusing on digital literacy and mentorship, he’s building a base that feels like they owe their personal growth to his influence. That kind of connection is much harder to break than a simple party affiliation. Of course, the real test is always the transition from "influence" to "infrastructure." Kwankwaso has a literal political party and a ground game that reaches into every small village. To truly match or surpass that, Pantami would have to turn those millions of students and online followers into a disciplined voting bloc that can navigate the messy reality of a polling unit. It’s a fascinating dynamic because it’s a battle between the old-school grassroots model and this new-age, ideology-driven movement.
