@retardmode I dunno why people are freaking out about this. BTC became established as a nice predictable index that experiences its own cycles every few years. Why would anyone expect it to go uponly? Yes we will cycle through 45k and then yes we will start over for new ATH. That's good.

@Fahadnaimb Can someone please confirm if it’s only for people in Abu Dhabi . What about folks in Europe who has flight back home via Abu Dhabi ? Will the government help with hotel reimbursement in Europe ?

Abu Dhabi is straight-up class right now. Government just told hotels: "Keep the stranded guests comfy... extend their stays, we'll cover every extra night and meal. No charge to them." All because of the flight chaos from the regional mess. That's some real hospitality flex ..... Props to DCT Abu Dhabi for looking after people first.

My mom has a small business in Germany making 300k in revenue per year. - 150k are taxes, - 25k in tax attorney costs - a full work week for tax related bureaucracy - 50k for Employees (and their taxes) - 30-50k for goods So she's left with 20-50k for working 60h a week. Dope. This is how you destroy the middle class and the foundation for generational wealth, growth and prosperity. Oh and Germany has 5m public servants (out of 45m working age)
Peer Richelsen@peer_rich

its always “work harder” and never “lets make it easier for you to be productive” businesses in germany struggle under bureaucracy and regulations employees struggle under 42% tax rate fix those before telling us to work harder

@number_pizza111 I think they are assuming every subscription is an individual person- as if the kind of person to subscribe wouldn't have multiple of them. Very irresponsible statistic to report

Reminder: The statistics you hear about OnlyFans are without exception fake and made up for advertising. They want you to believe every woman you know is selling her body and every man you know is buying it to encourage you to join up with them. The issue is that isn't true.

@InsideLucysHead I've seen this joke written in so many languages, it's embarrassing that anyone thought the sarcastic expression "yeah right" exists only in their language.

A linguistics professor says during a lecture that, “In English, a double negative forms a positive... But in some languages, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative. However, in no language in the world can a double positive form a negative.” But then a voice from the back of the room piped up, “Yeah, right.”

@Sam34451869305 @Bitcoin_Teddy Agree, but reality check, that's for the entire economy. We keep convincing other economic actors to pass us their purchasing power. Even if it is in the form of salaries, benefits, or simply suffering inflation. Someone has paid for everyone's income.

@Bitcoin_Teddy No money is made in BTC or any other crypto. Money is won or lost in a pozified gambling pool fad. Nothing. If you win a dollar someone else had to lose a dollar. No wealth created. Only won or lost. Period. Suckers

can someone please explain to me how someone gets 8 hours of sleep, 10,000 steps a day, goes to work, maintains good hygiene, cleans their house, exercises, takes care of their animals, and has time for hobbies and socializing? cause i feel like this is also propaganda.

@dvorstone In theory, yes. In practicality, Democrat policies of tolerance of homelessness, public drug use and vagrancy ruin the idea. Making communities that require a commute to get food keep most of these people away. We didn't invent suburbs to so we could mow grass.

This has been a pet-peeve of mine for years. There's no place in our regulatory framework for small, mildly profitable businesses that can cater to a neighborhood. Someone could easily run a small shop and live behind or above it, but we zone that kind of business out of existence and then wonder why we don't have all of these small, interesting, niche businesses.
Mark R. Brown, AICP, CNU@CompletedStreet

Americans would be 10% happier if zoning codes allowed stores in residential neighborhoods.
