Airdrops are dead. There, I said it. And before you say “Mark, isn’t your whole account about farming airdrops?” Yes. Which is exactly why I’m saying this. Right now, most airdrops are cooked. Solana, Hyperliquid, Sui, whatever. They are overfarmed, diluted, and in a brutal market. The easy money is gone. If you are farming everything, you are probably getting cooked. To outperform now you must be super picky and smart. and I want to be clear about something, Most creators have a motive behind every tweet. Sponsors, bag bias, whales, you name it. This post has none of that. I am not invested in any of these. I am not a whale. These are just my opinions based on what I'm actually doing. So if airdrops are dead, why even talk about them? Because if you are starting small or just trying to grow a portfolio in a rough market, airdrops can STILL be one of the simplest ways to do that, if you are smart about it. Here is my very honest short list of opportunities and why: Solana • Hylo – xSOL and other assets coming are great examples of good tech. The airdrop is definitely overfarmed because it is the most hyped protocol on Solana right now, but I still like it. Overfarmed on the best airdrop is still a piece of the best airdrop. Farming with stables is very low risk so it is still on my list. • Titan Exchange – Another solid product with Prime mode giving low fees and a really clean UI. This one is a no brainer since it's something most of you do every day anyway. Everyone swaps, just switch to here. • Bulk Trade – Not even on testnet yet, so people might throw shade, but I like the team and what I’ve seen. As long as the product hits, I think it'll do well. It's already insanely popular. • Honorable mention: OnRe – Caution as this is not the first product from this team. Lesser known and you can farm with stables, so the main risk is the protocol itself. Research first. What to avoid on Solana: Loopscale, Solstice, RateX, Backpack. (Purely from being late) Quick note on Loopscale. I have been tweeting about it for a while. You are late. You need A LOT of points to get a meaningful airdrop and it's basically impossible unless you are a whale. (Should do well for top farmers though.) Now for Hyperliquid... I was hyped too lol, but honestly it's been a big disappointment. Kinetiq did okay, but the rest have been super mid. That said, I have two solid picks. • Felix – Overfarmed (how many times and I going to say it?) like most things, but stability pools for stables earn solid APY and liquidation rewards are nice on swings. It has one of the highest TVLs on Hyperliquid and I like the product. • Project X – Not as competitive as many think. You can climb with pools like HYPE/USDT0 pretty easily. Could be top 3 airdrop on the chain if everything lines up. Product and UI are solid, but farming here has risk if the market pumps or dumps. Think Meteora on Solana. Honorable mention: Unit Everything else is overfarmed or too late. Mid-tier airdrops will not survive and if you are late, you are late. Final thought. Even if airdrops are overfarmed, late, or the market is nuking, they are still free money. $20 is $20. You will get something from every one of these. The amount and the work required is what changes.
