Big Twelve XII - Team Reveal 📋 This is the twelfth time the Big Twelve will go around, and to avoid any confusion I thought I’d tell the origin story of the team name. The “Big Twelve” came from a saying which originated in a Western NSW community many a year ago. Whilst out and about in this community, I once overheard some lovely young ladies discussing a local man, and remarking that they’d heard he’s got the “big twelve”. Upon further investigation, I learned that this was a nod to a rough anatomical measurement - the number of inches this group of women generally used to describe a man’s schlong when it’s on the larger end of the scale. Doesn’t have to be exactly 12”. Just has to be big, and they’ll credit you with a big twelve. Naturally, as a young fella, I had to name my SuperCoach team after it. I thought it was funny and it made me feel cultured. It definitely is not any kind of a reference to my personal situation. Anyway twelve years on from this fateful day - the Big Twelve have managed, among many failures, one Top 3 overall finish… with plenty of other disappointments along the way. Certainly none that compare to the regret of that final captain choice. There has been a sprinkling of Top 100 finishes in this period but they just really feel insignificant once you’ve been so close to getting a whiff of Sangster. Anyway, enough shit talking, here’s the team for Round 1 - barring any late brain snaps or team list chaos. I’ll be posting my side weekly, tracking rank and trades as the season unfolds. @DBeanA1 Thanks mate, he’s coming off an injury affected 2025 season and there’s just value to be had. Sea Eagles light on middles and he should get some solid game time and generate 100k+. Prefer him just slightly over Flegler & Colquhoun.

💸 CHEAPIE HALFBACK STRATEGY 💸 Really warming to running double cheapie halfbacks after Atkinson’s trial last night. Sanders is goal-kicking, distributing on the left edge to Young/Kris/Tamale, averages 41ppg playing in the halves (4 game sample size), and part of a team that can put on serious points. Atkinson was running the ball aggressively, backing up half-chances, and seemed to be involved in just about all scoring plays last night. Averages 44ppg across 2024-2025 playing in the halves, big sample size. I’m confident this increases playing halfback (not second-fiddle 5/8 to Hynes at the Sharks). Playing Sanders rounds 1-2 vs Manly & Warriors. Swap to play Atkinson rounds 3-4 vs Eels & Titans. Holding Hynes/Cleary at flex in case I need a bail out. Lots of cash incoming! #NRLSuperCoach #NRL
