Printing a scan from the parts manual of my #vandercooksp15 printing press circa 1960, on my hardly used but nearing 2yr old @hp colour lazer printer. Now landfill after a simple paperjam. Criminal design no right or ability to clear jam, let alone repair. shame on you @HP

They've put a surface dressing on Chorley New Road; not a good surface over broken tarmac. Here's how they've painted the cycle lanes back. It's like this at every island; they just can't help themselves. Not that unprotected cycleways are suitable on a 40mph road anyway.

@adamtranter if these vehicles were furniture blocking access and thoroughfares in your home, you'd likely have a wee tidy and remove those that did not fit....We have no shortage of vehicles in this country (32million-ish), time to rebalance and restore pedestrian dignity to our streets.

Pavement parking is dangerous and unacceptable. Some of it can and should be enforced right now using tools already available to local authorities and the Police. But we also urgently need national legislation to get on top of the problem. birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-…

@CMPG I assume the illegal number plate was correct info, just wrong size/format (right size for flummoxing cameras)?. I would have seized the car and auctioned it. Use the funds to help those in need/remove more twats from road (permanently).

Just off the A38M this Audi stopped due to manor of driving. Driver reported for due care, illegal number plate, no seat belt and illegal tyre. We however gave him a lesson in changing a wheel as he didn’t know how to do it. 5419YF

@LdFreddie Lets not kid ourselves, this is indeed a 'shared space' but the developers haven't done this for any other reason than to cram as many houses into the smallest space possible.

Road on a new estate without any pavement. Rest of the estate it goes on to being built. How did they get planning permission???! Irritates me every time I walk through it

@Northfieldcycl1 this country is running on a thin vapour of good will and common sense/decency. Historic, carcentricity virtually extincted the road cyclist. Most drivers, see cyclists as a recent inconvenience to their supremely incompetent, self entitled selves. 33.2mill cars now in UK.

I'm a confident experienced cyclist. Have raced for about 35 years and ride about 5-8000 miles a year. 24 hours later I'm still a bit flaky..2nd one had fists at the ready..How would a new inexperienced cyclist react to these 3, probably never ride again.

1/2 Really didn't want to go out for a ride this morning after yesterdays appalling experiences. Had 3 drivers get out and have words with me. All reported. 2nd one below was so upset I had my arm out to indicate I was turning right he brake checked me #highwaycode
