@hellcatcapital @burby_geek @Mont_Jiang The profits are being used to build the data centers. The data centers have been helping them increase their profits further. Eventually they will cut back on capex and have larger profits than before.

@hellcatcapital @burby_geek @Mont_Jiang Did you just provide a chart showing that all these companies are using spending their money on capex hence the dropping free cash flow and then ask who is building stuff?

@BenAxelrod Lots of Cavs fans have the LeBron years as their dominant playoff memories and honestly believe it's normal to just dog walk teams through your conference playoffs and anything less is somehow indicative of failure.

@Rob_Shenanigans Sure. While 35% of Flower's work is those short passes what he can do with the other 65% sets him apart and remains to be seen if KC can match. But I do think KC was a good fit for that 35% and it's key to opening up some of the other elements of the offense

I'm a big fan of Vanderbilt tight end Eli Stowers. My only concern is whether he fits the roster. He's almost like a big wide receiver and not a prototypical TE with good size + blocking. We probably need a TE opposite Fannin who can block. youtube.com/watch?v=D7QUCJ…

@Rob_Shenanigans Flowers also led league in catch % behind LoS. Which likely influenced the KC pick to fill that roll. His scheme works best when he challenges a defense to have to decide to cheat in on the run (Judkins), cheat out on quick screen (KC), and then deal with PA to athletic TEs.

@Rob_Shenanigans Monkin was top 3 in 12-personelle. So behind Stefanski slightly, but still heavily used. However both Andrew's and Likely had higher average depth of targets than Njoku and Fannin. So his scheme likes to get TEs downfield. Fannin and Stowers would be an ideal combo.

@Clevta If Stewers is still around, also going to be enticing to pair with Fannin. Monkin's scheme is very much about forcing a D to cheat in for the run and then exploit screens and PA to TEs or vice versa. They now have their WR for the screen game. Judkins at WR. Can lock in TE combo

@FredLambert Refund of previous and the act of not having to actively pay them are two different forms of relief. Companies benefit immediately from not being subject to them any longer even prior to the refund situation resolves itself.

Tesla $TSLA earnings might look good on the surface, but they are in complete shambles if you dig even a little: - Tesla Listed "one-time warranty and tariff benefits" as the #1 driver of profitability — refused to disclose the dollar amount - Seemingly Booked IEEPA tariff refunds as income in both auto AND energy segments after the Supreme Court ruling — a one-quarter windfall - Stretched supplier payments from 61 to 71 days — up from 52 days two quarters ago — adding $1.3B to payables to juice cash flow - Issued $4.3B in new debt (3x last quarter) to keep the cash position flat after a $2B SpaceX investment Meanwhile: deliveries missed, inventory piling up to 27 days of supply, energy storage down 15%, and GAAP net margin was just 2.1%

@christiannnn_m @Tylerr803 @Bitcoin_Teej Employer 401k match > HSA > Roth IRA max Then at this point is where you should consider the balance of a taxable brokerage and increasing 401k contributions further. People overrate the tax advantage of a 401k when it means having money at 60 compared to having money in 40-50s

@Tylerr803 @Bitcoin_Teej There's no tax benefits to a brokerage account. Generally I have heard the order would be 401k up to match, then a Roth IRA at your own brokerage

The most expensive tax mistake most W2 employees make is not adjusting their 401k contribution after every raise. You got a $10,000 raise. You kept your 401k at 6%. You just let $10,000 of new income hit your taxable account at full rate. You were already living without that money. You could have moved the whole raise into the 401k and never felt it. Tax deferred it. Let it compound. Most people spend the raise first and wonder why the account never grows.

@garyblack00 @squawksquare I mean even if an executive team today made the decision to proceed with this, it'd be at least 3 years before that car came to market. And then how long after that before the software is even good, let alone physical iterations?

The $NVDA Alpamayo news is not about Mercedes. It means that other OEMs can now buy or license supervised or unsupervised autonomous driving technology from NVDA - LCID, BYD, VW, etc. As I’ve said for years, unsupervised autonomy is about to become table stakes for everyone who wants to compete in the automotive business. $TSLA is not the only one.

How is this news bad for $TSLA? Mercedes is far from catching up to $TSLA on autonomy and they sell about 40K EV's a quarter. 🤣

@money_cruncher If u absolutely want to maximize tax advantages, sure. However by the time u are to #6 u should be weighing a balance with taxable brokerage. Sure not optimal tax wise but you're going to wish u had money in your 40-50s to live life than waiting until 60s+ when it matters less

What you should do with your money: 1. Build emergency fund 2. 401k up to the match 3. Pay down higher interest loans (7.25%+) 4. HSA, if eligible 5. ESPP, if available 6. Roth IRA (or max out 401(k) depending on the marginal rates) 7. Pay down lower interest loans (but not <4%) 8. Mega Backdoor Roth, if available 9. Brokerage

@jaaydubbb @BuckeyeNatty @Chamoooo54 Brother read what I just said, "he was not a great coach". He didn't win any games that matter which is why they aren't a favorite to hold the title, hence why this hiring is bad. You "don't win anything that matters at LsU, more than likely, you'll be quickly fired.

@BuckeyeNatty @Chamoooo54 He was at Ole Miss for 6 years. He has only a single road win against a ranked team in 6 years, came this year against Oklahoma. For a total record of of 1-8 on the road against ranked teams. And this is the guy people think is going to "burn the sport down".

@farzyness Also the I-70/76 corridor is perhaps the most important logistic lane in the entire country. Focusing on this area goes way beyond passenger transport and arguably is more about commercial and trucking.

This is a VERY unique place to test RoboTaxi. This is right next to Harrisburg, PA. Harrisburg is what I would call a so-so part of the state. It’s populated, but there isn’t much going on. This tells me that Tesla is seeing an opportunity to go to underserved centers around the country - not just big cities - to provide low-cost transport. This will dramatically change the transportation foundation of that part of the state. When you make cost to move people/things much cheaper, everything changes. The fact they are testing these kinds of areas this early on is a HUGE signal. It’s also signal that says Tesla’s ability to scale will surprise many.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

NEWS: Tesla is doing some Robotaxi validation testing near Enola, Pennsylvania, about two hours west of Philadelphia, in preparation for future service expansion.

@CoasterRoadTrip @RCXcyclopedia @TheThrillDude Exactly. If u hate the situation ur energy needs to be directed towards changing laws that parks aren't liable for injuries caused by other guests not following guidelines. Otherwise the parks here are paying to build lockers, paying for extra staff, just for guest incompetence

@CoasterRoadTrip @RCXcyclopedia @TheThrillDude Less a park issue than an insurance issue. Park pays to insure ride, insurance companies are now jacking up that cost considerably unless parks make changes they want, like loose article policies. Parks now having to suddenly adapt solutions to this.
