How is getting $8 billion from State coffers and $2.3 billion from deferring pension payments bringing a budget down to zero? The same NYC taxpayers that pay the bulk of NYC taxes are paying the $8 billion of state taxes that are funding the budget gap. This budget ‘fix’ is robbing Peter to pay Paul and it didn’t work out well for either of them.

@Epidemic753 @naiivememe The only reason plumbers and electricians are needed is because of their knowledge to do those repairs. When that knowledge is easily attained by anyone using AI, they are no longer needed. Meaning they were replaced by AI.

When voters/donors perceive there's no chance the donations slow, less people go vote, etc. When the odds of victory look higher it encourages donations/energizes voter turn out. Pump the market for the opponent to suppress enthusiasm
