Claude Code wiped our production database with a Terraform command.
It took down the DataTalksClub course platform and 2.5 years of submissions: homework, projects, and leaderboards.
Automated snapshots were gone too.
In the newsletter, I wrote the full timeline + what I changed so this doesn't happen again.

If you want to climb the cybersecurity career ladder, my advice is to get really good at securing AI agents. If you can provide good solutions to that problem, you’re going to have a lot of leverage.

The most interesting thing I toured in Abu Dhabi was the @M42Health Omics Centre of Excellence and it’s effectively the sequel to the Human Genome Project. They aren’t just sequencing DNA; they are building a "Foundation Model for the Human Body."
By tracking 40+ distinct modalities (genome, microbiome, retina, sleep, etc.) across 100k+ people, they are moving healthcare from "Sick Care" (reactive) to "Precision Prevention" (predictive).
