LAPD has really extracted a lot of wealth from Los Angeles. It's the problem with not upholding and enforcing the law. I don't believe that this lawsuit warranted $5 million but it is what it is. LA is just too unstable for everyday living imo. No accountability.

Mary Fong Lau (seen here walking through the courthouse today) dodged jail and prison time. Lau, 80, was speeding when her Mercedes SUV plowed into a West Portal bus stop in 2024, investigators said. A family was waiting to catch the bus for a trip to the zoo. The crash killed Diego Cardoso de Oliveira, his wife, Matilde Pinto, and their two babies. @c9495208019 I think part of the issue is LA's design outline meaning the districts aren't aligned correctly and we have just way too many garages, parking lots, hidden allies to drive in, etc. etc. But yes I think that's an option and truly we are working to build a new city.

They do have an ordinance in Costa Mesa about the noise, the fuel on the homes and the disturbance. Can you make a ordinance? Now that doesn't include the helicopters hoovering over to try to find a killer. Thats happens all the time💛

Centering communities around heavy ground and air traffic is flawed design planning. Corporate media helicopter pilots chasing sensationalism for every single incident that happens is problematic. That is not freedom of press it's a disruption to our communities.

I am seeing all the posts about Atlanta airport and how horrible it is. I am here. Everyone is friendly, almost festive even. The lines are long but moving swiftly. I have digital id tsa pre check and the line was significantly longer than normal but we still got through in less than 30 mins. Just get here early and show a little patience and grace. The employees are doing the best they can and most are doing it with a smile.

The Charter Reform Commission's tentative plan is to approve charter language for all remaining reforms at this Tuesday's 3pm meeting. Assuming the final item passes, they will have a final meeting the following week to approve a draft report (probably March 31st but tbd).
