@LeedsCC_News⁩ I don’t object to parking fees, what I do object to is paying for what is basically a pot holed tract of land. Maybe some effort could have been put into filling these at the time the meters were installed 🤔prior to charging commencing???

UK 🇬🇧 Two extra Wembley Stadium shows have been added due to phenomenal demand. Tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process. Applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many UK fans who were unsuccessful in the initial on sale with Ticketmaster. More details to follow.

This is my daughter Semina Halliwell she was only 12 years old when she took her own life. Why ? You maybe asking..... well I will tell you what is fact!! She was groomed online by an older boy She was pressured into a meeting with him by constantly being contacted by him. When they met, he proceeded to sexually assault her, a manner in which is classed as statutory rape in the eyes of the law, by definition that a child 12 and under cannot give consent . It turns out that she was his second victim. The other victim was 13 and had already reported the crime to the police. Semina reported her sexualt assault to Merseyside Police to investigate having been confirmed by them as a rape case. Following the reporting of this sexual assault to the police, Semina was subjected to online threats and hatred. She was also attacked and beaten 3 separate times, which had been filmed and posted on social media. During the last meeting with police where it was said it was her word against his, she went upstairs and took a lethal overdose, which took 4 long days for her to die whilst being awake. That was 3 years ago, and we have not had an inquest, due to information such as the serious case review generated by social services is being deliberately withheld from the public domain due to the damming formation of failures held within. A whistle-blower a police officer from Merseyside police and was indeed the safeguarding officer at Semina's school, was so concerned and was actually doing his job, felt compelled to speak out about the lack of safeguading issues about and the lack if action being taken about a boy who had unhealthy interest in young girls and even wrote to the coroner with his concerns upon learning of Seminas death. Following this action he was suspended from his work for gross misconduct along with accusations of an affair with myself. I HAVE NEVER MET THIS MAN! He was a family man just doing g his job and now his life has been destroyed!! 2 years later from reading an IOPC report I learned that a police officer had interviewed the boy and his mother, where the boy admitted to the offence but said that Semina had consented. I SAY AGAIN ITS THE LAW A CHILD OF 12 CANNIT GIVE CONSENT. The boy was given the option to attend a voluntary interview where no charges were brought against him even with the above admission. I am being g sile ced by the authorities by delay tactics. Merseyside police refuse to give my daughters phone back to me and want to destroy it after the inquest despite precious images of her I have the right to want to keep. They will also destroy the serious case review after the inquest alongside not having any question directed towards this review. So I repeat my statement above..all reading this will be asking the question WHY? @TRobinsonNewEra @leeharris @alexarmstrong @BGatesIsaPyscho @LozzaFox @BGatesIsaPyscho @danwootton @darrengrimes @DaveAtherton20 @elonmusk @GoldingBF @HoodedClaw1974 @benhaslm @calvinrobinson @davidkurten @Nigel_Farage @PatrickChristys @Satah477618 #Southport #justiceforseminahalliwell

@theRCN I went on strike last time and the RCN faired better in Scotland than England. I felt at the meetings after it was a like it or lump it attitude. I have no faith in you getting us a better deal. No its not enough.. but what actually will you do about it?

The 80th anniversary of D-Day has been a profound moment to honour the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our values, our freedom and our democracy. This anniversary should be about those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The last thing I want is for the commemorations to be overshadowed by politics. I care deeply about veterans and have been honoured to represent the UK at a number of events in Portsmouth and France over the past two days and to meet those who fought so bravely. After the conclusion of the British event in Normandy, I returned back to the UK. On reflection, it was a mistake not to stay in France longer – and I apologise.

@Nurseborisbash @ZoeyTamsin @RishiSunak You live in a different world. I was born 1957. We had one coal fire to heat a house. You wrapped up shut up and got on with it. Such an entitled generation we have now.

The 8 things I wish I’d known at the start of my breast cancer diagnosis: 1) The fear of recurrence never leaves you 2) I don’t need breasts to feel like a woman 3) Memories are more important than shoes + handbags 4) Friends will come and friends will go 5) You can reinvent yourself 6) Chemo is tough but you won’t remember it 7) There are alternatives to HRT to help with menopausal side effects 8) Exercise should be the first treatment you have

Mum never had a mobile. When dad died she started using his. I've not changed his name in my phone. A little bit of me gets so excited when I get a text with his name, or a call with his profile on my home screen. I should probably let go but it makes me happy. Love you Dad x

Just in case mainstream media missed it, there is a 72-hour strike of the "junior" medical workforce today. It appears the weather is getting better coverage.
