@jima00 @Grady_Booch Like mixing Prolog and LLM. I made a toy one where Prolog facts are the tokens that the LLM uses, so everything is provenance. It doesn't do prose output, it creates a series of data facts.

I just thought of them as pieces of software following some design or architecture... where is the neuro/symbolic stuff?

In the fullness of time, LLMs will eventually become commodities and their price will be a race to the bottom. As the competitive advantage of one LLM over another shrinks - particularly as open source models expand - the value proposition will turn to the neuro/symbolic harnesses that use those models, structures that encompass agents, agent orchestration, tooling, and component plugins. Even those from frontier AI organizations will fall to open source frameworks. The last thing standing will be those who command the data centers on which these things run, and even then, that will become a commodity, with the number of players shrinking to just a few survivors. They too will find pressure: as computational power rises, more and more such systems will be run locally.

AI agents can write code many times faster than a human. What this means is that you, the programmer, have a large amount of time to use those agents to write unit tests, to write acceptance, tests, to write property tests, to torture test, to mutate test, to QA test, and to otherwise ensure that the code meets its functional and quality requirements. And even after spending all that time, you will still be many times more productive than a human programmer, and the result will be better.

It's about the execution system which is game engine IDE focused, but COMP-3/4 cover OS and security details which don't make sense without the first doc.

Interesting read. Reinforces my opinion that better signatures, more up-to-date signatures, better heuristics and more “layers” are insufficient approaches to cyber in 2026. We have to reinvent OS security models. UNIX DAC does not work anymore
