don't get me wrong, i love building startups but every time i'm about to launch, i get a little heart attack that i missed an important bug that's why i made gauntlet :) just drop your url and get a swarm of ai agents to battle test your app and find bugs before your users do

I'm sure most people don't know what serverless is. (Hint - It doesn't mean there are no servers 😉). Give it a read 👇 Pro Tip - With Serverless, developers have to focus solely on application logic. The story of serverless computing starts with the rise of cloud computing in the mid-2000s. Platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) began offering a way for companies to rent computing power instead of owning and maintaining their own servers. This was a big change, but developers still had to manage a lot of the details of setting up and scaling their applications. Fast forward to 2014 => AWS launched Lambda => it really kicked off the serverless revolution. 📌 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬? ◾ Serverless => a cloud computing model where developers write and deploy code without managing the underlying servers. ◾ The cloud provider handles infrastructure tasks like - scaling - patching - maintenance etc. ◾ Serverless applications are event-driven, meaning they execute code in response to triggers such as HTTP requests, database changes or file uploads. ◾ The cloud provider automatically scales the resources to handle incoming requests and you pay only for the actual compute time consumed, not for idle servers. This makes serverless a cost-effective and scalable option for building modern applications. But, Serverless isn't always the answer. Sometimes, using containers or virtual machines might be a better fit. Don't be afraid to mix and match for the best solution. 📌 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 - [1.] Break It Down ◾ Keep your functions small and focused – each should do one thing well. ◾ This makes them easier to test, debug and scale independently. [2.] Events Are Your Friends ◾ Design your app around events (like user actions, database changes or file uploads). ◾ This makes your system reactive and scalable. [3.] Remember, No State ◾ Serverless functions are stateless, meaning they lose their memory after each run. ◾ Store data you need to keep in a database or object storage service. [4.] Code Like Infrastructure ◾ Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (like Terraform or AWS SAM). ◾ This lets you version control your infrastructure, making it more reliable and easier to manage. [5.] Size Matters ◾ Don't overprovision memory for your functions. ◾ Pick the right size to balance performance and cost. [6.] Warm-Up ◾ For time-sensitive functions, keep some instances running (provisioned concurrency) to avoid cold starts (delays when starting up a new instance). [7.] Trim ◾ Only include the code and libraries your function actually needs. ◾ Smaller packages mean faster start times. [8.] Cache ◾ Use caching to store frequently accessed data in memory, reducing the load on your functions and speeding up responses. *** Follow the principle of least privilege – give your functions only the permissions they absolutely need. ___ Follow - @techNmak

The best AI agent of 2026 is completely free. Not because free software is rare. Because this is the first time the thing you actually want from an agent: >memory, presence, tools, and control >doesn’t have to live inside someone else’s subscription box. OpenClaw Studio gives it reach: chat apps, voice, canvas, scheduled work. Hermes gives it depth: memory, skills, and the quiet ability to get more like you every week. Together, they don’t feel like another chatbot. They feel like the first rough draft of a personal operating system. In the video, I show the setup. In the article, I take the machine apart: what’s inside it, why it works, and why giving an “Agent OS” your keys is both powerful and dangerous. Watch the video first. Then read the article before you install anything.
