@the_zb_ @ovhoek @wearetherace Im sure F1 team principals generally dont like these regulations, but theyre part of a structure where top management decisions are being made that are pushing for these changes, and F1 has no choice but to comply with these demands. Like it or not, thats the way it is, my friend

They’ve all made some sort of remarks about the issues, particularly with qualifying. But you are conflating correlation and causation - the team principles aren’t ALLOWED to say anything overtly negative without consequence. The drivers have also been told not to do so, they just don’t care as much and are less controllable.

@autosport Their four-time champion is failing to provide the engineers with the necessary feedback to develop a good car. He can't even start the car without losing all his positions. He should be taking the team on his shoulders, but all we see him doing is complaining on the track.

@Guido07872092 @effonecasualfan @wearetherace @XPBImages If the major manufacturers leave, F1 will undoubtedly disappear, but today only the long-time fans connect with the drivers you mentioned. The new fans who are coming in don't connect with them and will support someone else from their own emerging generation.

@KymIllman But the narratives that so many people fueled didn't mention that Max was a generational talent capable of adapting his driving style to any type of car. Today, they just seem like very well-paid media campaigns involving various outlets and key figures.

NOT HAPPY Max Verstappen's Suzuka pole streak is over, being knocked out in Q2 by VCARB rookie Arvid Lindblad. Max let his frustrations be known over the radio, with the 4-time World Champion unhappy with the performance of his "undriveable" RB22. At the moment, he starts P11, behind teammate Isack Hadjar and VCARB'S Lindblad. #f1 #formula1 #japanesegp

@thomasmaheronf1 It hasn't disadvantaged the fastest drivers. I think it has put all the drivers in their proper place. Not everyone can handle the challenge. This is also an engineering battle, and the best engineers give the drivers the upper hand. It was never 100% about skill.

The F1 2026 regulations have hobbled the fastest drivers and placed all the emphasis on controlled, contrived patience; a lowering of the collective benchmark that means all the drivers are brought down a notch, rather than encouraging the superhuman. #F1 #JapaneseGP planetf1.com/news/winners-a…

@effonecasualfan That's right, the monopoly that Horner and Marko held for Max at Red Bull was central to the project. I have no doubt that Maxs lucrative contract was a distribution of the organization's money to the Horner, Marko, and Verstappens trio. No more, the others will be supported too.

@EstagiariodaF1 So if someone asks him why he thinks the rookie Red Bull drivers outperformed him in Q2, and whether there is now fair internal competition at Red Bull, since there's no longer a single-garage monopoly like in the Marko & Horner era, would that be malicious?

🎙️❌ "Vous pouvez me demander n'importe quoi.

#JapaneseGP

@HugoLop83 @SkySportsF1 Did you decide that after just 3 races? Haha. People were saying the same thing about Perez after the first 3–4 races of 2023. If Max leaves the category, it won't be because he's bad, it’ll be because the series is turning into battery charging competition or Formual E.

@GordoSixtytwo @autosport Mekies wouldn't get involved in those matters. This issue originated in Austria with Mintzlaf. Either Max aligned himself with the brand, or I think they'd be happy if he left; in the end, some rookies who don't cost that many millions could beat him in qualifying.

@boratkn_ @SkySportsF1 Well, their champion driver is showing signs of rust, and the talented youngsters are pushing him towards the exit door. And I'm not the one saying this; Max himself is considering leaving the category. Perhaps he'll do it before he's humiliated, to protect his image.

@HugoLop83 @SkySportsF1 Nope, you're just trying to fit this into your own agenda. Hadjar is not a world champion, he is a rookie. Do you think they would entrust the team to a rookie or a Mexican driver when you have one of the top5 drivers in history in your team? dont think so.
