Carney is moving ahead on a new pipeline to get Canadian oil to global markets, something Alberta has been demanding for years.
And yet, Alberta is STILL complaining.
First it was “we need pipelines.” Now it’s “not this one,” “not fast enough,” or “not good enough.”
At some point it stops being about pipelines and starts looking like a province that just wants to be perpetually mad no matter what happens.

That’s why our government is investing $200 million through a new Class Size Reduction Grant to help hire more than 1,400 additional teachers and reduce pressure in K-to-Grade 9 classrooms across the province. His son came running back. His sister had been grabbed and carried into a shed.
The father ran inside, pulled a 47-year-old ranch hand off his 5-year-old daughter, and beat the man with his bare hands. He called 911 immediately, asking for help, saying he did not know what to do. The man died from his injuries.
A grand jury declined to charge the father. Texas law allows deadly force during a sexual assault.
To one side, this is exactly how the law should work — a parent protecting a child in the moment. To the other, deadly private justice always carries risk, even when the moral case feels obvious.

It is an absolute slap in the face to every person's democratic rights that indigenous activists, representing a pittance of the population, funded by our hard earned tax dollars, can dictate to over 5 million people that their voices do not matter.
Actions like these create even more resentment and division, not reconciliation.
Every person in the province gets a vote, but the activist courts choose to amplify certain voices over others.
This is the opposite of justice.
