The @TexasGOP has some explaining to do to the grassroots that will be attending convention. The explanation about the registration site for convention not working, and the company running it "letting us down", is not sufficient. The Texas GOP website has a documented past of being compromised. I am posting that below. We need to know, in detail, why after all this buildup, such a colossal failure? Furthermore, I do not remember any communication from the Texas GOP stating what information was in those databases. Was any of it personally identifiable information of delegates like names, addresses, credit card numbers, etc? What about donors information? If it was, I didn't get a notification that the party was paying for credit monitoring services. I certainly don't remember anything publicly announced about that. Info on past breaches. Based on publicly reported information, there are at least two distinct incidents involving the Texas GOP website (TexasGOP.org) being hacked or compromised, both occurring in September 2021 and both connected to the hacktivist collective Anonymous as part of "Operation Jane" — a campaign opposing Texas' Heartbeat Act abortion law. Incident 1 — Website Defacement (September 11, 2021) On September 11, 2021, for several hours, the Texas GOP's website was plastered with Pokémon imagery, a Rick Astley music video, a mocked mission statement attributed to the "Republican Party of Fucking Over Women," and a Ted Cruz joke. Texas GOP Chairman Matt Rinaldi confirmed: "Pro-abortion hackers changed our web page for a short time before we took it down." TexasGOP.org's administrators managed to wrest control of the website back by the end of the day, but it took more than two weeks before the site was fully restored. The Republican Party of Texas later confirmed "all data on the RPT's website was compromised and has since been released to the public," and the hack was reported to the FBI. Rolling Stone + 2 Incident 2 — Data Leak via Epik Hosting Breach (October 2021) Anonymous leaked data belonging to the Republican Party of Texas — obtained through their hack of web hosting provider Epik — including sensitive information from the GOP's data backup servers, such as private documents, databases, and draft articles that were never published. BankInfoSecurity Legal Aftermath In March 2025, unsealed federal court records revealed that Aubrey Cottle, 37, described as a security researcher and co-founder of Anonymous, was arrested in Canada and charged in connection with the September 11, 2021 hack of the Texas GOP website. KXAN In short, the Texas GOP website suffered one major defacement attack and one significant data compromise, both part of the same coordinated Anonymous operation in the fall of 2021. No other separate hacking incidents appear to have been publicly reported beyond those events.

When I receive text messages like this, it just reinforces the old stereotype, that politicians lie. Since I have known of French existence, I have not seen one thing that shows any “Christian values”.

But yes, I spoke to the Plano City Council in November in favor of their motion to call a DART withdrawal election. Unfortunately, they made a deal with DART to call it off.

The one thing we keep coming back to is that the loudest voices telling Native Texans that we are not conservative enough and calling people RINOs, are those who have moved here from out of state. Specifically from the West Coast states. If these trans-Texans are so great at conservative public policy, why didn't they stay home and fix their own state?

It seems folks are having a hard time separating the politics of a country and a religion.

What I witnessed last night was the machine hated Massie for being honest and trying hold pedophiles accountable. It's a dark day for Republicans when someone who tries to hold other Republicans accountable is despised by Republican leadership. The message from leadership is this "Submit to corruption and turn a blind eye, or you are not welcome." Every Republican voter should be ashamed of that message.
