@I91784Ink This bit is true, although part of Khan's plans are for the street to be more festival-like on a regional basis. Traffic-free days on Regent Street were discontinued.

It makes no strategic sense whatsoever for @TfL NOT to lobby the @GOVUK for powers to cap PHV numbers. In fact, those at @TfLTPH don’t even have a coherent argument against it. It’s also contradicts the reasoning used by the @cityoflondon when they decided to restrict taxis.

One of our followers has raised a concern: is Bolt “backfilling” bookings in London-with drivers accepting first, and operators only afterwards? If proven, that’s unlawful under the 1998 Act. TfL & Bolt need to answer: who accepts first -the operator or the driver? #LondonPHV

@guidoacasa “Been tried”? Sunak shelved his review. Khan buried TfL’s study showing no cut in car use. Lambeth lost in court over flawed LTN consultation. That’s not a real inquiry -that’s cover-up. We need a real up to date inquiry!

LTN’s were sold as the answer. But suppressed studies,failed consultations, and traffic chaos tell a different story. Sadiq Khan,Will Norman & boroughs like Lambeth and Camden have pushed ideology over evidence. Isn’t it time for an independent inquiry into LTNs?
