Utterly harrowing hearing @FarsakhNebal of @PalestineRCS recall Israel’s killing of 5yr old Palestinian Hind Rajab in Gaza, her 15yr old cousin Layan, their family, & Yusuf & Ahmad, two paramedics who came to rescue after that haunting phone call, to MPs. Zero accountability.

PCRC's @VelmaSaric and @tatjana677 took part last week in the “Reconciliation in the Western Balkans” conference, organized by @AspenGermany. As a stakeholder in the #BerlinProcess, PCRC joined experts and decision-makers to explore reconciliation within the framework of EU enlargement, transitional justice, and remembrance. Our recommendations included stronger support for de-segregation of schooling, more regional CSO cooperation, and direct approaches to dealing with the past as part of the #EU accession processes for Western Balkan countries. #PCRCBiH

Although legal gender recognition is possible, it requires full medical transition, which is often financially and logistically inaccessible due to limited healthcare support and high costs for procedures that are not covered by insurance. Social acceptance remains low, with the majority of the population either unaware of or opposed to trans rights, further complicating efforts to secure legal and healthcare advancements.
