Total distance traveled was 953,054 miles compared to the 700,237 miles the Artemis II traveled. The reentry speed of Artemis2 was higher which means they traveled at a higher speed I agree, makes no sense

The shield isn’t some hot block that eventually cools off.. it’s sacrificial. Most of the energy is never stored, it’s immediately released as hot gas and from chunks and layers that physically come off.

The capsule itself never got anywhere close to those temperatures, the heat shield absorbed and shed that heat, it did it's job.
You currently lack the knowledge to discuss this, research and then try again.

@CorintianoCrnco @Serhat285140 @cetinlimonboy You're comparing a metal ball with high heat retention to a capsule with ablative heat shielding that doesn't allow the structure to get above only a few hundred degree's, that has traveled through upper atmosphere -50 air and winds for many minutes before touching water.

@CorintianoCrnco @Serhat285140 @cetinlimonboy Well firstly, that's not possible, the capsule never reaches that temperature, not even close. That's the temperature of the superheated air around the capsule, not in the spacecraft structure itself.
You need to educate yourself on the basics before you can question the rest.
