Philly welcomed Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, who visited the Benjamin Rush Garden to dedicate the Bicentennial Bell. As @IHTrust hosted the visit, En Route was on the scene managing media for the Duke's trip as he promoted the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.

"Let freedom ring!" HRH The Duke of Edinburgh attended a special rededication ceremony for the Bicentennial Bell in Philadelphia. The Bell was given by Queen Elizabeth II during her visit in July 1976 and is a symbol of the friendship between the people of Britain & the US. 🇬🇧🇺🇸

Beginning Friday, March 28, 2025, the security entrance for Independence Square will be moved to the south side of Independence Hall. Visitors can access the entrance using the stairs or accessible ramp halfway down 5th Street between Chestnut and Walnut Streets.
