@CoreKeeperGame The most fun part of this game was larping as a british explorer. Whenever you see something pretty or exotic you can just take it with you and decorate a new wing of your house. There first time I found a labyrinth I took the whole thing with me, only left a huge crater behind.

What do you prioritise when base building in #CoreKeeper?

@rTerraria Eye can definitely wipe out a city with a garrison of 20 lvl3 guards, but kingslime’s main threat would be the huge amount of lil guys he summons meaning that those 20 guards might be enough. Having level band and description feels off. Either rank by CR or by what it destroys

@turbopisser If having -4 charisma means you can never charm even the most gullible idiot by pure chance you might as well not use dice at all since randomness is not desired. If it feels illogical to you how this would happen, ask the player to explain how they managed to succeed, easy.

@turbopisser Based on the attribute “foolish”, I would assume the DC to interact with them to be generally easier. Even with -4 Cha that still hits 16. Especially based on social checks usually having negative social consequences if they fail, I think there is poor communication here.

Entirely dependent on the situation. RAW Nat 20s do not automatically succeed on a skill check. I'm not letting the barbarian with a -4 charisma modifier charm a foolish nobleman just because he managed to roll a 20 on the die.

@realfrothyfriar I love the idea of this item being an exam question for artificers. Because it’s a creativity exercise with lots of solutions (screen like, mini portal, sensor link, etc) but also lots of ways to make detail mistakes (depth perception, edges in vision, color quality, etc)

I feel so seen by this, because my dad has been reading and discussing haiku with us weekly for a while now and to me it feels like half of historically lauded haiku have bullshit kigo like straight up seasons or “migratory bird” (meaning it could either be spring or autumn)

Everyone simping over this but real Chinese martial arts nerds will know that this clip shows the complete reworking and destruction of our cultural heritage as she twirls the sword over her head. Previously, no form/taolu would ever have you wave a sword over your head with the Taoist belief that the spirit connected to heaven via the top of the head, and swinging the blade over it would symbolically sever the connection of Man and Heaven. Mao deliberately got rid of this belief by making sure all modern wushu sword forms had twirls and spins over the head, and forcing the populace to give up this belief and religious connection to the past. However, it's also a martial risk considering that swinging a sharp sword can end badly if you block a strike overhead, and the blade bounces on the top of your skull. This is why there are distinct differences between modern wushu sword/weapon forms and lineages preserved in rural China kung fu families, HK lineages, Taiwanese/Malaysian ones. The HuWhite man sees the glory of China in this clip and a world of women with no body odor and feistiness, the real Chinese man sees the destruction and rewriting of his entire civilisation and culture in a single moment, like tears in the wind, turned to dust by the hidden hands of fate. @Hoopss Broccoli is legit one of the best vegetables once you stop trying to boil it. Treat it like a carrot or a pepper. Just some slight char, cut in larger chunks, good amount of butter and salt and it’s a banging vegetable. It can be boiled and be good, but that’s harder

@stardustssinner @Thama_Th @vodkalover52 It becomes an entirely different skill after the rework, and is a decent accel if the timing hits. But it is entirely random, so its not really worth unless you cant get any other accels. At that point in the game there are enough reliable ones, and more than 1-2 don’t stack well

What would you guys say is the worst skill in the game? My money is either on Super Lucky 7 or Just A Little Farther

@IGN I understand part of this sentiment. When I played morrowind last year, it did feel a bit clunky and looked a bit ugly. But it also had an amazing magic system, incredibly deep world building and genuinely good quest writing that will ruin many modern games quests by comparison.

@vodkalover52 I personally found the farming for it pretty fun, both dedicated sprinters and non-sprint umas you spark into it have very unique training patterns. It’s refreshing to not need any stam at all for once
