Highlights from Qatar’s observance of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2025, held annually on 30 July. The event, organised under the theme "Human Trafficking is Organised Crime – End the Exploitation", was spearheaded by the Ministry of Labour and the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, with wide participation from governmental, security and judicial bodies, international organisations, the diplomatic corps, and civil society institutions. #molqtr #World_Day_Against_Trafficking_in_Persons

On the occasion of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2025, under the theme “Human Trafficking is Organised Crime – End the Exploitation”, the Ministry of Labour reaffirms its commitment to a comprehensive approach to combating this crime, protecting human dignity, safeguarding the fundamental rights of vulnerable groups, and promoting fair working conditions. This is pursued through the implementation of the 2024–2026 National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking, in cooperation with national and international partners, in line with Islamic principles and international law, ensuring an effective response to all forms of exploitation and forced labour. #molqtr

Forced labour affects 27.6 million people worldwide. The time for quiet concern is over. It’s time to act, decisively and together. #EndHumanTrafficking
