You could quite easily make $50k+/mo finding free tools on the internet, stealing the ideas, make them look fancy, add paywalls, and distribute them properly There are thousands of untapped tools online which are super useful and incredibly smart, but the problem is: - Built by nerd dev’s as “side projects” - Have zero marketing - UI is completely ass - Not being monetised - Pretty much neglected and years old No one uses them because people don’t even realise they exist… Even if they do know the free version exists, people trust the price of paid products. The perceived value is higher (even if the product is basically the same) Not to mention the wrapper and way you market these tools matter way more than the product itself anyway. The aesthetic design, simple onboarding and bended marketing angles will do most of the work The same random tool that was made for business owners by some tech nerd could be sold to teenage girls for a monthly subscription if the use-case made sense and was viral-worthy So many places you can find free tools to rip btw… - Reddits - GitHub - Paid/free Discord communities - Old forums If you’ve got even the slightest skill of marketing product, this is such an easy play. I’ve seen it happen so many times. You can literally just rip ideas and dev’s can’t do anything about it. Run it up

he’s telling the truth. tech market is brutal. new grads are now just 7% of new tech hires and you’re competing with laid off top tech engineers. here’s how to get hired in 2026: > build a T shaped knowledge stack. have general insight into web, various tech stacks, but also a specialization in at least one thing. “full stack” or “web dev” isn’t specific enough. narrow down. > learn how to approach problems and think critically. this isn’t the same generic advice from 2020s. it’s more important than before as ai is good enough to code, but isn’t a good high level thinker. > since everyone is crazy about ai, ai engineering will be high in demand. pivot if you really like it, don’t chase the money. > obviously, build in public. share on X and YouTube. that gives you real experience + exposure + useful connections. this is 10x more important now than 2 years ago. you’re no longer claiming that you know stuff, you’re showing it. it also forces you to really learn a thing rather than fake it.

Skills That Make You Economically Untouchable (Part 2) Most people learn skills that make them EMPLOYABLE. A tiny few learn skills that make them UNREPLACEABLE. These are the hard skills that turn you into a rare asset: 1. Acquisition Engineering The skill of bringing in customers profitably. Anyone who can acquire users, customers, or attention never goes broke. Companies don’t fire rainmakers. 2. Market Mapping Knowing where the money is moving before everyone else. Builders, traders, and founders all pay for this skill. This means you have to be a perpetual researcher. 3. Data Literacy Not learn Excel. Being able to extract patterns, predict outcomes, and make decisions from messy data. Data → Insight → Money. 4. Sales Copywriting Words that make people buy. This is the most underpriced hard skill on earth. One paragraph can make you $10K, $100K, or $1M. No jokes. 5. Product Execution Turning ideas into things people actually use. Figma. Product intuition. User behavior. If you can ship consistently, the world bends for you. 6. Coding Enough to Automate Not to become a developer. To remove 50 hours of work with a script or workflow. Automation = silent leverage. 7. Capital Allocation The skill of knowing where to put money to multiply it. Crypto. Startups. Real estate. Markets. This is how wealth compounds fast. 8. Deal Structuring Understanding equity, ownership, terms, and upside. One smart deal can out-earn 5 years of salary. 9. Distribution Mastery Knowing how to get a product, message, or brand in front of millions. This is how creators, founders, and businesses scale. 10. Tech Stack Fluency AI. Blockchain. Automation tools. APIs. You don’t need to master everything, you just need enough to outpace 90% of people stuck in 2010. 11. Financial Modeling Seeing the future of a business on a spreadsheet. This is the skill investors, founders, and executives secretly rely on. 12. Research Efficiency Being able to dig, verify, extract insights, and present actionable intelligence in hours, not weeks. 13. Negotiation Mechanics Knowing the math behind a win-win deal, not just the talking. Most people negotiate emotions. Rich people negotiate structure. 14. Systems Building Turning chaos into predictable processes. This skill alone can turn any small business into a money machine. E.g, More like turning betting/gambling into prediction markets 15. Digital Asset Creation Courses, templates, tools, books, automations. You create it once, it pays you forever. Mastering soft skills makes you DANGEROUS. Mastering hard skills makes you UNTOUCHABLE. Combine both and you become INEVITABLE. Bookmark. Like. RT.

Soft Skills That Can Make You Dangerously Rich The wealthiest people aren’t the smartest. They’re the ones with rare soft skills. Here are the ones that actually make you rich (not the cliché ones you see on Google): 1. Pattern Recognition The skill of seeing opportunities before the crowd sees them. Every millionaire has this. Every billionaire masters it. 2. Relentless Communication Not just speaking well making people FEEL you. This is how you raise money, close deals, and make people believe in your vision. 3. Social Navigation Money moves through people. If you can’t read rooms, build alliances, or align incentives, you’ll always earn less. 4. Deal Framing Making your offer so attractive people feel stupid saying no. This is one of the highest-paying skills on earth. 5. Narrative Building Facts don’t move markets. Stories do. If you can tell a story, you can attract capital, partners, and talent. 6. Confidence Signaling Not arrogance — certainty. People trust certainty. Opportunities chase those who radiate it. 7. Curiosity With Precision The rich aren’t curious about everything, just the things that unlock the next level. 8. Conflict Intelligence Staying calm when others panic. The people who handle pressure best rise the highest. 9. Leverage Thinking Thinking in systems, not effort Rich people ask: “How can I turn 1 hour of work into 100 hours of output?” 10. Social Proof Engineering Learning how to look credible before you’re well-known. This skill builds careers overnight. 11. Translational Intelligence Turning complex ideas into simple explanations. Simplifiers make more money than geniuses. 12. Presence When you walk into a room and people feel your value without saying a word. 13. Adaptability Under Pressure Markets shift. Tech changes. Teams break. The flexible survive. The rigid get replaced. 14. Opportunity Sensing The instinct that tells you: “Move now. This one will change everything.” 15. High-Value Networking Not friendships. Value alliances. Rich people don’t know everyone, they know the right people. 16. Execution Discipline The skill of finishing what you start. Consistency is a cheat code. 17. Reputation Management Your name is a door. Protect it. Polish it. Invest in it. 18. Persuasion The multiplier skill. You can have average talent, but if you can persuade, you’ll win. 19. Self-Awareness Know what makes you dangerous. Know what can destroy you. 20. Timing Saying the right thing at the right moment can make you rich. Saying the right thing at the wrong moment can cost you everything. Master these soft skills and watch your income, network, and opportunities transform. Bookmark. Like. RT

i've been hacked and traced the malware's wallet to see how much money they actually made from this new exploit (if you use Next.js/React, READ THIS!) I woke up to a terrifying email from Hetzner: "Netscan Detected." my server was blocked and a botnet was using my IP to attack others i dug into the logs and what I found the anatomy of the attack: 1) The Symptoms: I logged into htop and saw the mess: - CPU usage: 361% - A process named ./3ZU1yLK4 running wild - Random connections to an IP in the Netherlands my server wasn't serving my app anymore; it was mining crypto for someone else! 2) The Culprit: It wasn't a random SSH brute force. It was inside my Next.js container the malware was sophisticated it renamed itself nginxs and apaches to look like web servers it even had a "killer" script that hunted down other hackers' miners to kill the competition 3) The "Root" Cause (literally): Probably the recent React/Next.js CVE-2025-66478 exploit was the entry point (my project was running on "next": "15.5.4", behind cloudflare dns, but their recent fix didn't work apparently) but the fatal error was mine: my Docker container was running as ROOT Coolify deploys like this automatically when using Nixpacks, and I never changed it... so because of USER root, the malware could install cron, systemd, and persistence scripts to survive reboots meaning, it was able to infect my whole server, from a single Next.js docker! 4) The Forensics: I ran docker diff on the container - the hacker didn't just run a script, they installed a whole toolset.. - /tmp/apaches.sh (The installer) - /var/spool/cron/root (The persistence) - /c.json (The wallet config) 5) The Fix: I killed the container, scrubbed the host, and extracted the malware for analysis. but the real fix is in the Dockerfile. if you are deploying Node/Next.js, DO NOT use the default (root), you must: - RUN adduser --system nextjs - USER nextjs if you have Docker on ROOT and didn't update the exploited react version, you'll be hacked soon check your containers NOW. Run: docker exec id (or get the full list first: docker stats --no-stream) If it says uid=0(root), you are one vulnerability away from being a crypto-miner host. (it's easy to notice when hacked, it will be a command running on the top CPU%, using all your hardware resources) 6) The Money: I dug deeper and recovered the config file (c.json) - Wallet: A Monero (XMR) address: 831abXJn8dBdVe5nZ*** - Pool: auto.c3pool . org and ofc i tracked the hacker’s wallet on the mining pool 7) The Scale: My server wasn't alone. It was just 1 of 415 active zombies in this botnet they are burning the CPU of 400+ cloud servers... to earn... guess how many millions? $4.26/day on the image attached you can see: "Total Paid: 0.00", meaning this campaign just started. I caught them on Day 1. i also tracked back the server where they hosted the malware, and by inspecting the code, I found several comments in Chinese, so I guess that's their origin im rebuilding from scratch on a fresh VPS. the lesson was expensive, but at least I caught it before the hosting nuked my account permanently... PS: I have the IP for all the other machines mining with that malware, not sure how I can help them, but feel free to contact me if ur doing infosec stay safe

Today marks the end of my journey as a contributor to the @lineabuild team! (click to continue reading my farewell essay…) My time working as an ecosystem leader at Linea taught me one thing. The most important dapps of the future will fully abstract the chain experience and be interoperable. The question I kept asking myself was how to attract those projects to our network. My next role is at just such an application, which will onboard a large audience of net-new users to our ecosystem. We desperately need to break beyond the echo chamber and I’m thrilled to be joining a leading project that will do exactly that, and hopefully a lot faster with me on board ;) When @Halxyz was acquired by @Consensys at the end of 2022, I was surprised to find myself back in a large company. Consensys has been a great workplace and very supportive of all my quirks. One of my favorite things at this company was listening to @ethereumjoseph delivering his town hall sermons. I was already hardcore cryptopilled by the time I arrived, but Joe’s vision for the future of Ethereum is orders of magnitude beyond what I ever considered. I await with bated breath for some of the new Consensys strategies to be unveiled. Regarding Linea, I found a home both with the team and the ecosystem. It has been an honor and privilege to work here alongside you. I will probably write a book about the Linea Network someday. For the next generation of development, I think Linea will be the de facto L2 for any company who wants to build on Ethereum. It is Ethereum, down to its very bytecode, down to the chain ID. The tech and research teams are close to unlocking massive scale on blockspace, network decentralization… and there are some other eye-popping ideas currently being vetted. Suffice to say, I remain a Linea bull and expect to see the technology be adopted by great companies around the world. But as a spiritual man, I am compelled by the bhavachakra. I must take another spin on the wheel of life. I am delighted to be joining an early-stage startup again and do all of the fast-moving, high-risk startupy things. Going to give a special shoutout to the following people @croll83 for the mentorship and joy of working together @0xcam1 for the long romantic zoom calls working on the Surge, discussing meme charts like astrologers pontificating the stars, NACA & BFOC @emacosc for showing me that Roman Centurions still exist in Anno Domini 2025 @melenxyz for stepping up from the shackles of your youth into a specialized role in DeFi @suzapalooza for managing a truly insane amount of chaos day in and day out @DeclanFox14 for being the best product counterpart I’ve worked with in all my years and a steady leader who has an un-veering eye for the chain @zk_evm for the bytecode @alexand_belling for the prover @alainnicols for growing into a wonderful internet poster The CS Discord team (I don’t have your X handles but you know who you are) for facing all of the problems created by other people and your resilience and compassion in spite of the stress @jt_rose for pulling me onto Linea in 2024 and also launching it to mainnet @elodia_gim for helping us handle the crises any day of the week @0xbel1 for being one of the rising superstars of crypto, a yet unsung hero who has done more for the Ethereum ecosystem than many people i know… do not fade Bel. And @ethereumjoseph because you might be a CEO and cofounder of ETH but at the end of the day you’re just a normal dude who loves the cryptocurrency technology like the rest of us C u n the Trenches
