@helloitsolly As an affiliate marketer, I'd recommend Affonso @useAffonso. I like using it to find affiliate programs because it clearly lays out the promotional terms, and I can even find programs that allow brand keyword bidding.

Why is it that when I use the "start with a website" feature in Google Keyword Planner to pull keywords from a SaaS product's official website, I can never find anything suitable? It's actually less effective than researching manually. Am I doing something wrong?

When screening SaaS affiliate programs for Google Ads, I don't deep-dive into keyword research for every program. Quick scan only. If low CPC + decent search volume doesn't show up in the first pass, I move on. I have too many programs to test to waste time on ones that don't pass the initial filter.

Platforms that will explicitly tell you brand bidding is allowed are pretty rare, and yet this particular platform actually has quite a few programs on it that do allow it.

Just reviewed the terms for a SaaS affiliate program hosted on @ToltHQ. Section 6 states "We may choose to provide referral programs, but we reserve the right to withhold payouts for any reason without disclosure of that reason." Would you still go ahead and promote a program with terms like that?
