@Sutton1Mr I think it was handled well by the people there. Be suspicious of anyone pushing the line that you shouldn't have de-escalated. Probably state actors trying to get you to play into their hands so your protest could be put down to "racist, far right thugs" etc.

Tensions Rising🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Just wanna add one more thing about Epsom last night. Some are questioning why at one point we were singing "Sweet Caroline" and other songs. To put it into context. The protest was silent for the best part. But as more and more riot police turned up a decision was made to de- escalate. And one of the lads got his "boom box" from his car.Purely to lighten the atmosphere. We were there to protest not to fight with the police.

Hadush Kebatu arrived on a small boat, sexually assaulted a schoolgirl and a woman in Epping within weeks, and was jailed for 12 months. He was meant to be handed straight to immigration for deportation – instead, HMP Chelmsford just waved him out of the gate and, according to witnesses, staff spent 90 minutes pointing him towards the train station. The 14‑year‑old victim says the blunder left her living in “immense fear and anxiety”, and then watched as the man who attacked her was given £500 as a “quick, cheap” way to get rid of the problem. Now Dame Lynne Owens – a former head of the National Crime Agency – has been brought in to warn ministers that wrongful releases are systemic, with an “archaic” paper system contributing to an average of 22 prisoners a month being let out in error in England and Wales. That isn’t a one‑off mistake. It’s a collapsing prison estate that treats public safety like admin, and child victims as collateral damage.

Campaign Against Antisemitism
The CPS has just been ordered to pay CAA’s legal costs after falsely prosecuting Mark Birbeck for “assaulting emergency workers” when he held a sign saying “Hamas is Terrorist”. In September 2024, Mark, who is the founder of @OurFightUk, was accused of assaulting two emergency workers at a protest at which he had been holding the sign alongside Niyak Ghorbani. CAA stepped in and has provided Mark with free legal representation, as we have many times before (for Niyak too). Two days before Mark’s trial in October 2025, the CPS revealed that it had been sitting on video footage that exonerated Mark, and discontinued its prosecution. Last week, a Judge ruled that this was one of those “very rare” and “exceptional cases” where the prosecution had made such “clear and stark” errors that the CPS was ordered to pay defence costs related to their “improper” mistakes. The CPS instructed King’s Counsel to oppose the defence costs application, but the Judge found the CPS’s approach to disclosure to have been “shambolic”. In particular, the Judge castigated the CPS for failing to serve the crucial police videographer’s footage, which vindicated Mr Birbeck, until just before the trial. CAA is proud to have assisted Mark, a staunch ally of the Jewish community in the fight against antisemitism, by providing and paying for legal representation. Mark and Niyak have been repeatedly arrested and on occasion charged, only to have bail conditions lifted by courts and cases collapse, with our support. It is obscene that the police and prosecution are wasting time hounding people who are simply pointing out that Hamas is a proscribed terrorist organisation in the UK, rather than focusing on the terror sympathisers in the regular hate marches that have transformed our cities and made antisemitic hate crime a daily feature of Jewish life in modern Britain. If it risks public disorder to point out that Hamas are terrorists, that’s because there are too many people on our streets who think they aren’t. That trend is the real menace.

In true X style, it would appear some people commenting have failed to read the last line of this post. I would like to put it on record that I am not the transvestite banned from cheating in women's professional darts, I'm a pissed, mediocre local pub player who would get absolutely annihilated by a professional women's darts player. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Jack@FFS_WhatNow

"I just got an email. Apparently, I just got retired. Not by choice, but because I am no longer allowed to compete, the DRA decided that trans women are no longer allowed in women's events." You're free to play in the open event with the men.

Please don't undervalue your own contribution to this, Laurie. You've done so much of the heavy-lifting, and you too should give yourself a pat on the back for pulling so many people out of a Leftist-induced coma through the sheer scale of batshittery you lot dished up. You're a 39 year old woman who should have known better than to have jumped onto whichever trendy bandwagon was riding by at the time, and by the look on your face and your body language in this incredibly hard-to-watch interview, even you didn't believe the crap you were blathering on about. But you kept going with it. Unfortunately, I doubt you'll ever have a sufficient level of introspection to ever take stock of the very real harm the trans fad has caused to countless young people and children who, likely, looked up to people like you, thinking you had their best interests at heart... because you were one of the 'Adults in the Room'. In all honesty, Laurie, there are no winners here. Everyone loses when children are harmed. But you can't see beyond your own self-interest, can you? To you, this was just about 'winning' and being 'On The Right Side Of History™️' - and just like every commited Leftist, it didn't matter who got hurt.
Laurie Penny@PennyRed

May I take this opportunity to congratulate all the anti-wokers for winning their precious little culture war. Well done, guys, hope the liberal tears were worth it.
