@shaneparrish Completely agree @shaneparrish as reinforced in your fs podcast #178 with Jerry Colonna. Almost 20yrs on I take pleasure recalling an idyllic day walking hand in hand with my then 8 year old daughter to school much more often than any of my major work promotions or big $ deals.

What we consider defining moments, like promotions or a new house, matter less to life satisfaction than the accumulation of tiny moments that didn't seem to matter at the time. In the end, everyday moments matter more than big prizes. Tiny delights over big bright lights.

I never said that parliament or the executive government is obliged to act. When the constitution, the highest authority of the land, states that the "Voice may make representations to the Parliament and the Executive Government of the Commonwealth", neither parliament or the executive government can prevent the voice from making such representation on any issue they deem important. To deny the voice that right is to violate that part of the constitution and that's where the High Court comes in.
