The specific scholarship was Karsh International Scholarship, set up by Martha and Bruce Karsh, Bruce being the chairman of Oaktree Capital Management. Their tax deductible donations were made to “increase intellectual diversity, and educational equity.” The billionaires have donated millions to the DNC and to stop Trump PACs specifically.
What we’re seeing is the is the passion project of left leaning billionaires working hand and glove with NGOs and state department resources while getting tax breaks to educate foreigners in our universities. Trump has done wonders to dismantle this type of stuff.

I was so annoyed by this tweet that I spent the last week writing an entire children's book called The Insignificant Speck, which starts out telling this Reddit Atheist story ("You're just a speck, you're not special, nothing means anything"), but then takes a left turn halfway through, exploring the mathematical impossibility of life, how miraculous it is that anything exists at all, how an infinite sequence of stuff had to happen to produce you, how you are imbued with all of that magic, how the human experience is ablaze with the majesty and wonder of its Creator, and how your life has cosmic importance and is weighted with tremendous moral responsibility, and you owe your ancestors and your progeny the honor of living well and fully.
It's the children's picture book I want my kids to read more than any other. A based "Oh, the Places You'll Go" for our retarded age.
Anyone know any illustrators who'd want to collaborate on this?

A Syrian immigrant and his brother brutally raped Swedish woman Petra. Petra is no longer with us. She ended her own life. Before she died, Petra received only $330 in damages from the perpetrator because he had no more money. Meanwhile, he was awarded over $92,000 by the Swedish state for spending "too long" in jail. This amount is three times what Petra was supposed to receive from him for brutally raping her ($30,000), and the Swedish Enforcement Agency is not allowed to seize this money to pay Petra. After his release, he continued committing crimes and has still not been deported, despite being sentenced to deportation. The Swedish court system spares the wolf and sacrifices the sheep.

And then you'll go, "Oh no no, I can only recall a couple of his sonnets really." Then you recite the second. Then they'll say, "Wow, all I know is 'Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?'" And then you'll respond, "Haha yeah, that's a good one." Then you recite that full sonnet. After that, they'll assume you've committed to memory everything Shakespeare ever wrote and will forever speak your name in hushed and reverent tones.
Of course, for this to work, your third sonnet has to be Sonnet 18. That's crucial. I should've put that in the first tweet.
Anyway here are my three. Sonnet 29 for its beauty, Sonnet 130 to tease, and Sonnet 18 for the reasons explained above.

You have to memorize at least 3 of Shakespeare’s sonnets. It can be any 3, but you have to be able to whip them out at a moment’s notice. You need to be bardmaxxing.
