20 years in Germany: One of the worst mistakes Kenyans make abroad is to go with same Kenyan mentality. There is a reason Germans have 1 to 2 kids. If you continue like that, you better be ready to retire their with nothing. 4 children is not a joke abroad 😳.

I always take my time to make this argument with them when @FRSCNigeria personnel waste my time claiming “I am just doing my job”. They stop and harass visibly healthy looking cars and ignore the lurking-disaster looking vehicles that are an obvious danger to lives and property. Evidently they are not out to do their job.

@thecableng This guy is claiming that judges are not suppose to even enjoy d best things of life because that will make them to be dishonest. He thought everyone is like him and his cronies. I think people like this that are feeding our youth with evil thoughts should be dealt with legally.

"The politicians don't need our votes to get to power. Who do they need? The judges. That is why Nyesom Wike is building mansions for judges. That is why state governors are donating prados and land cruisers to judges across the states. That is why they're making sure judges are the best-paid people in Nigeria. Meanwhile, governors who cannot pay the minimum wage are feeding judges with the kind of money and emoluments you cannot add up." — @ChidiOdinkalu

Peter Obi will address this. We won’t allow those that did not go to school to mess with the future of our children. This is tantamount to criminalizing education. Will akara & vegetable sellers afford ₦50,000 for WAEC or NECO? More students are going to drop out of school. Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT is determined to rollback the gains Nigerian children have made. He is determined to replace intellectualism with Olodo Uprising. They gave you NELFUND & increased your Examination Fee from ₦27,500 to ₦50,000. This automatically reduces the number of kids admitted into tertiary institutions. It drastically reduces the amount FG spends on NELFUND. But is anyone the least surprised that this is coming at a time when Nigerian pupils are winning the Cambridge IGCSE English & Mathematics? It came when our children are smashing the International STEM Olympiad & the Pan African Maths Olympiad (PAMO). Education came under attack in 11 years! “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” The APC are against any attempt to emancipate the people. But we won’t allow this crazy hike to stand. It must be reversed immediately! 😡😡

FG Increases WAEC, NECO Examination Fee From N27,500 to N50,000 for 2027 The Federal Government has approved a new examination fee of N50,000 for candidates sitting the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and National Examinations Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE), with the new rate taking effect from 2027. The approval was contained in a June 18 statement signed by Adeniji Ibrahim, Director of Senior Secondary Education at the Federal Ministry of Education. It followed a request by WAEC for an upward review of the SSCE registration fee. The new fee represents an 82% increase from the current N27,500 charged per candidate. According to Ibrahim, the decision was reached after a March 31, 2026 meeting between the Minister of Education and examination bodies, where the need to review examination fees was discussed. He said the minister also directed both WAEC and NECO to adopt a uniform examination fee. “You may recall that at a meeting of examination bodies held with the honourable minister of education on 31 March, 2026, where the need for upward review of examination fees was discussed, the honourable minister directed that WAEC and NECO should adopt a uniform fee for the conduct of WAEC and NECO SSCE,” the statement read. It added, “Consequently, I am directed to convey the honourable minister of education’s approval of the sum of fifty thousand naira (N50,000.00) only, as the new examination fee per candidate, with effect from NECO SSCE (Internal), 2027.” The ministry said the directive should be communicated to all relevant stakeholders.

At what point should the activities of the Senate Committee on Appropriation be called to question especially with the fact that the Chairman of the committee, Senator Adeola Olamilekan aka Yayi is vying for the position of the governor of Ogun State @OGSG_Official under the platform of @OfficialAPCNg @OfficialApcOgun if all these irregularities and misappropriation is done under his watch, what will happen if he becomes the Executive Governor of the state, how will he act if the state assembly do similar thing?

Wait till you see what we found. • ₦3.5bn for a Technical & Vocational Training College in Kaduna. • ₦1.4bn for road construction in Ogun. • ₦700m for dental X-ray machines and dental chairs in Ekiti. All under the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education. And this wasn't a one-off. While analysing the 2026 budget, we found 11,122 constituency projects worth ₦6.93 trillion that blur agency mandates, making it harder for Nigerians to follow the money and hold the right institutions accountable. We unpacked what this means for the credibility of the 2026 budget in our Federal Government Approved Budget Analysis. Every Nigerian needs to know what the government is doing. @ilujogbo @BudgITng So, you’re saying it doesn’t matter if it’s signed, they can go ahead and implement only 10% of it if that’s what can negotiated even though this signed budget is the reason for increased taxes & loans. Do you think it’s transparent if you don’t know what is funded as a citizen?

It’s obviously due for an increase since the WAEC EXam is now CBT-based. College entrance exam cost about $70 in the United State. So the federal government increasing the fee to N50, 000 is still reasonable cos the computers and other technologies used to conduct the exams requires high maintenance and funding

@instablog9ja While the upward review may not be welcomed by Nigerians, parents/guardians will have to sit their wards down and make them see the reason why they (examinees) needs to be serious in making their paper once since writing the two exams isn't necessary.

Soldiers in the Armed Forces of the GIANT OF AFRICA takes $73 home, monthly, as salary. Below are the salaries of the "inferior" forced in Africa; • Ivory Coast: $800 • Burkina Faso: $700 • Ghana: $550 • Mali: $400 • Senegal: $360 • Togo, Benin, Niger: $300 • Nigeria (Giant of Africa): $73 It's very disgraceful that Nigeria, the 6th, oil producing country in the world & highest in Africa pay their soldiers peanuts. From 1999 till date, military budget has increased but the soldiers who carry out the orders of their commanders are least paid.
