I’m not thinking big swing like Micah Parsons…or Jalen Carter. I mean big swing like Javon Hargrave or Calais Campbell, and those are just examples for context. Someone who can play 500+ quality snaps next season in base and nickel isn’t coming in the draft. That’s what they need.
They need help at CB, but help at CB doesn’t necessarily mean FA dollars.

@ByRyanWood The problem with this Ryan, is there are no "big swings" at DT in this years FA class to take. I agree with you, it's the spot they need most, it's just there isn't much out there. Now, maybe a trade of some sort is the way to go.

If #Packers take a big swing in free agency, DT makes much more sense than CB. Both need significant help. You can add competition in draft and find starter next season at CB. You can’t do that at DT.
Kenny Clark and Devonte Wyatt are their 2 best DTs in past 10 years. Check what they did as rookies. You don’t just walk into the league and own the trenches right away. It takes time to develop at that position, especially into the every-down starter needed in GB. That position screams free agency, not so much corner.

@TomSilverstein How do we know Leonhard would be a good d coordinator in the NFL? He never has been. At least Gannon has been successful at it. Could he be bad? Sure but so could Jim. Don't think Lafleur is in a position to take a chance on an unknown. Maybe Micah loves Gannon. Bet he had input

Jett Williams is a top prospect, and one of two top position players prospects in the Mets’ system. A very good system. Mets were never giving up Nolan McClean, get real. My guess is they picked one of Sproat or Tong. Both good. Tong higher upside, but Sproat more big league ready.

@ByRyanWood He's 5'7" with very little power. Leave it to the Brewers though, the thing they need more than anything is a big power bat. They give up Burnes a few years ago, get a light hitting SS, give up Peralta..get a light hitting utility guy. Rinse and repeat.

Matt LaFleur will enter Year 8 with a 76-40-1 record.
His winning percentage of .654 is 16th all-time, ahead of Andy Reid, Sean Payton and Mike Tomlin. Obviously, there's a hump to eventually get over, but he's done a lot of good for the @Packers.
