Do you guys actually live in this country?
Is this the same Kenya that has only about 3% of the population with a degree?
Ben Kairu@bkairu5
@Mwende_Mugambi Kenyan: Mimi ni graduate siezi zungusha kahawa na KDF kwa mtaa. Burundi: Hii kahawa na KDF inaingiza 500 per day. Kenyan: Burudians have taken our jobs. Halafu we are greedy, you want to shave me at 300 bob, in a day you get 3 customers. Guy from Congo 100 bob, gets 12 clients.

@Jameskk110 @KlementGemini A parent is also human it’s backwards to think humans abandon self preservation ( putting themselves first ) for their kids
English

@KlementGemini In as much as she was a victim and has all the right to speak up, her child will eventually hurt more because other kids know no boundaries and will bully him endlessly. That’s also a huge burden on a child. A parent always considers their child first before their own interests!
English

@eat_ass_spamer7 @HawkAyo @kwa_hakika @Lsankei99 Can you read? I said Kenyans want to be prioritized in their own country stop being obtuse that’s the government job to prioritize Kenyan interest nothing to do with Burundians
English

@Ihertfang @HawkAyo @kwa_hakika @Lsankei99 So we're blaming burundians instead of the people paying less.

This narrative has to die before it grows legs

" I will chase Burundians taking Jobs from Kenyans "- Dagoretti MP Beatrice Elachi begins her 2027 campaigns!
English

@HawkAyo @kwa_hakika @Lsankei99 I’m against xenophobia but you can’t tell people to adapt when they want to be prioritized in their own country . Also the jobs that’s low income earners are doing is nothing AI is doing stop being purposely obtuse, we can be hospitable while prioritizing the wellbeing of Kenyan
English

@kwa_hakika @Lsankei99 Your lack of adaptability should not be blamed on Burundians nor anyone but yourself. Jobs are getting lost through AI in 2026; what other choice do those workers have? Adapt. Kenyans have always been hospitable

@Great_Ezeanyika @dammiedammie35 Kenya still has better living standards than Nigeria and it’s not an oil producing country 😂Nigeria is below Kenya in all regards from minimum wage, security, healthcare and even electricity Kenya is above
English

A lazy man compares himself to those on his level or others below him. This way he deluded himself into comfort cause he feels he's doing well for himself. Whereas, a man who wants to grow compares himself with other man ahead of him. This way he'll see he's falling behind and is motivated and spurred to do better.
The fact that Nigeria is now being mentioned side by side with Kenya should tell us how far behind we've fallen as a nation. Kenya as a metric to measure the growth of Nigeria? At this point Pres. Tinubu @officialABAT is either being delusional or is deliberately apathetic to the plight of Nigerians.
So Nigerians should be grateful for mediocrity because Kenya is also mediocre? What level of ggaslighting is this? Are Kenya and Nigeria supposed to even be mentioned in the same sentence?
"Kenya and other African countries".
Is South Africa not also an African country? Ain't South Africa light years ahead of Nigeria in terms of economic growth and infrastructure? Even smaller African countries like Rwanda is making significant progress in improving the living conditions of her citizens. But our president over here - of all countries to compare Nigeria to - chose Kenya!
Pathetic!

@WendyLIR @CiruMuriuki @NjeriWaMigwi Go and read how many cases he’s tried stopping as a lawyer imposed by this regime then get your answer from there.
English

@CiruMuriuki @NjeriWaMigwi I'm voting for Okiya Omtatah. I tuned out on everyone else.
Constitution PLUS actual actions.
If Okiya is not on the ballot Maraga would have to show actions to get my one vote.
He's not a thief, he talks good but bold actions is where I don't see him. Si ni lawyer?🤔 ACTIONS

People keep talking about how there’s no viable candidate when this man is right here. Legacy media has given you the impression that this is a 2 horse race. He gets next to no airtime while we’re treated to a grotesque theatre of profanity and mudslinging. Refuse.

One of the greatest tragedies to befall Kenya is if Ruto is re-elected. Register to vote so together we can send this regime to Kamiti #TukoKadi

@NidoSham @TheChalkRabbi @wmuragef @muthoni_njakwe You sound slow so men have different clans? Mumbai had 9 daughters that’s where the clan names come from. Women
English

@TheChalkRabbi @wmuragef @muthoni_njakwe You have poor grasp of your culture. It is not the clan that is named after the woman but vice versa. Women were identified by the clan they came from Wa-Ambui, Wa-Anjiru, Wa-Ithira, Wa-Irimu, etc. those name are not direct identity but tells where the woman came from.
English

From today, no one will ever bully me for being proud of my Kikuyu culture.
I watched the Luo culture, how beautiful, rich, and proudly displayed it was and it reminded me of who we are.
When we try ngemi or celebrate any part of our culture, we’re quickly branded as tribalists.
We’ve been so bullied that many of us abandoned our traditions.
But from today, I stand tall in my heritage. No shame. No fear. No apology.
English

@danielkiptoo07 @i_Elvis_ @C_NyaKundiH Wewe ur redundant and lacking God stands for any supreme being not a Christian supreme being

@i_Elvis_ @C_NyaKundiH Then we should start by removing that phrase from national anthem

Why the Church at State House Was Always Mabati....
I think it is good that I also speak about this issue because what President Ruto is doing by building a permanent church at State House is not just a matter of faith but a clear overstep into dangerous territory where public property is being altered for personal religious legacy, and that should concern every Kenyan regardless of their belief.
State House has always had a mabati church structure, and that was not by accident or because previous presidents lacked money or faith, it was a quiet, wise decision to keep the structure non-permanent so that in case a future president came from a different religion, they could easily remove it without controversy or constitutional drama.
When you build a permanent church on public land, even if you claim you are using personal funds, it still amounts to repurposing state property for religious symbolism that does not represent the full Kenyan identity, and that crosses a line that was intentionally never crossed before.
If tomorrow a Muslim president takes over, what will stop them from demolishing Ruto’s permanent church and constructing a mosque in its place, and then what happens when another president from yet another faith wins, will every new term come with a bulldozer and a blueprint for a new sacred structure.
This is why previous administrations left that church as mabati and modest, it allowed room for spiritual practice without imposing permanent religious marks on the presidency or the land that belongs to the people, and that balance protected everyone, Christian or not, from exclusion or forced symbolism.
There’s a deeper message here, because when the president uses his position to plant permanent religious buildings inside national landmarks, he is not acting as a humble servant of the people, he is behaving like a ruler who believes the presidency is an extension of his personal beliefs and not a neutral office meant to serve all equally.
We must say this plainly and early, Kenya is a secular state, and no amount of private money justifies altering the physical identity of State House into a shrine for one faith, because once that door is opened, it cannot be closed without conflict, resentment, and future power struggles over public spaces.

@Earthling103 @Monty_Hasashi But actions happen first in the brain then neurotransmitters send signals of the feeling “you have done said” action after. So the action precedes the responsibility you’ve done something. So how are you engineering anything?
English

@Monty_Hasashi Kitu iukua ni you are God or a god .. Nkama mko wawili , a being who has forgotten everything about themselves and is working on remembering who they are . Kila kitu inahappen kwa life yako wewe ndio hu engineer I happen. It's so simple and that's what makes it so hard to Grasp.

I have been doing research on Cannabis, why was it Criminalized? Because as far as history is concerned cannabis as medicine goes as back as 1AD in places like china,India,Africa and The carribean. Cannabis only got stigmatized recently in 1920s when the united states decided to criminalize it since many migrants from mexico were using and they thought by banning it,these migrants would return to their homes.
Cannibis as a plant has more than 500components. But the four main ones are
THC- responsible for the highness
CBD- responsible for pain relieving, doing away with inflation and anxiety
CBN- brings about the sedative effects, sleeping and calmness
CBG- This one brings about neuroprotective effects
In your body there is a system responsible for homeostasis, basically restoring nomalcy in your body. Called the Endocannabinoid system. It acts as a regulator
The CB1 receptors are in the brain and are part of this system- they regulate mood, neurotransmission ,pain, and things like appetite.
Now when you smoke weed,or eat weed cake,or weed tea,the THC,the CBD,the CBN and the CBG binds themselves to the CB1 receptors in the brain. They mimics the work of the body endocannabinoids influencing the equilibrium by reducing neural overexcitation, stress reaponses, sleep, pain and the highness.
Cannibis as a natural plant has been witnessed to treat diseases like Epilepsy,Diabetes,Cancer in which the THC was seen to kill cancerous sells and not touching the healthy ones,Headaches and other diseases.
The only thing that might be a problem with Cannibis,is the dependence and addiction. Especially the THC,Otherwise this plant that was condemned without any scientific backing, could be the solution to many of the diseases we have been fighting against. Legalize and regulate it aisee
