We finally managed to find a little sister for Gus. Kaylee is a wee cutie pie and Gus is enamored. He has been incredibly gentle and even gently pulled her back from the edge of the steps with a calm front paw. Squeeks still keeping her distance for now but making good progress.

@amazinganiamals I can only express my gratitude for owning a dog with the sphincter reach that ends at the upper arm whilst seated. However, when in bed, arms trapped beneath the covers whilst fate descends. The lowering of a dogs butthole towards your face is truly terrifying.

When my first one died, it was bittersweet to still have another and got another 2 good years with him!
Wish I could, but I’m not in a position to have doggos atm.

@JoeM_NZ Yep, rescued Gus & wanted to rescue another but they wouldn't let us, even though we had 2 close in age for 15 years that we lost within 2 weeks of each other. 2 can be tough sometimes but also easier as they can entertain & provide doggy cuddles & play. I'd have more if I could.

🚨 I was almost taken hostage in Cuba... I went to Cuba to document the humanitarian crisis and show life under 60+ years of communism and now amid the US blockade. Once I landed, they seized all my cameras except my iPhone and had intelligence agents following me all day until my security noticed their spies tailing us to the hotel where they waited all night for us to come down. Under communism there is no free speech, and those who show the reality or speak up are imprisoned. Me going without a planned Cuban government guide nearly got me and my security taken hostage or imprisoned. The situation in Cuba is much worse than anyone knows.
