@naomirwolf Those scents are gone. I used to love Nikki de St Phalle… same thing, they licensed the name and then cheaped out. Mystère is another one. I go with scents by Diptyque now. High quality. Creed is also good.

Heartbreaking. Scents from the past no longer exist! I ordered Shalimar, the first perfume I was ever given, received when I was 14. It arrived, but smells totally reformulated, very chemical and chemically sweet! No organic musky smell, no real flowers. I had a similar experience with Wind Song, which I had ordered out of nostalgia. Anyone else having this experience? Why wear scent at all?

FLASHBACK (10/17/2023): Allie Beth Stuckey answered the question, “What is the difference between submitting to your husband and the Patriarchy?” In this clip, she demonstrates why Paul said, “I suffer not a woman to teach.” First of all, let’s think about the question itself. Why was it asked in the first place? I submit to you that it’s because Allie’s audience knows that she is anti-Patriarchy. This has been seen in how she counter-signals patriarchal Christians in the CN movement. The questioner knows this, which is why the question was framed this way. Second, notice how when talking about submission, Allie immediately launches into what it does NOT mean. Wives should submit, but here are all the times when they don’t have to. Submission is never talked about positively, and a positive definition is never provided. My captions demonstrate this. It’s very problematic to make submission conditional, since a reviling wife can easily make up definitions of abuse and sin that get her off the hook regarding submission. Likewise, she will insist that the Patriarchy is not bad. Stuckey says this multiple times and in multiple ways. However, she will never call it good either. Allie knows that she can’t outright decry the Patriarchy because it’s in the Bible, so she gives it lip service instead. Never is there a positive definition, just like with submission. Finally, Allie gets to what’s required of men, even though that’s unrelated to the original question. With gusto, she explains positively and unconditionally what husbands must do for their wives. There are no exceptions. Christ-like love is required, regardless of the wife’s behavior. So the question is, why is a husband’s love unconditional while a wife’s submission is conditional? Some food for thought…

@ZacharyGarris He was a subversive liberal. His main goal was to get Christians to look the other way when faced with moral insanity. What's my score?

@JoeyESQ @ConceptualJames Weird. You must be unfamiliar with his string of “James Lindsay was right” posts. He’s pretty great at being informed and pattern recognition-like full time. The occasional scroller unable to face truth who pops in with some dismissive quip usually provides the amusement-

I hate that the US is so attached to this 2-parent household nuclear family bs. Mothers are miserable this way and always have been. It was never as beneficial as it was marketed. Women were drugging themselves to get through the day. Become neighbors with your best friend. Co-parent with your cousin. Alternate weekends with a school mom. Idgaf. But think of something else outside of thinking your marriage alone is enough support for you, your spouse, and your children.

45% of women between ages 25-44 are expected to be single and childless by 2030. Beware. The patriarchy will convince you that this is a terrible thing to happen to women. But it is, in fact, a terrible thing to happen to men”.

Speaking as an open-minded agnostic, formerly atheist, I'll tell you Laura has a point here. I worked hard to overcome my childish rejection of faith, but these Theo Bro and Temu Catholic jerks make me very glad to be an agnostic and far less sympathetic to the faiths they claim.
Laura Loomer@LauraLoomer

I’d rather be a die hard atheist than be a member of any Church that welcomes people like you and Candace to join its ranks. You use your phony religious grandstanding as a shield to harass grieving widows and you align with Islamists who want Sharia Supremacy. Atheism is more appealing than joining anything you claim to be a part of.

There is a species of ant that approaches the edge of another colony, kills a single worker, and then takes on the dead ant’s scent. For ants, scent is everything. Wearing that scent, the intruder walks in with no resistance. The workers pass by without concern. The intruder moves inward, toward the queen, then It sprays the queen with a different scent that makes the workers turn on her. Then they surround her and kill her. The intruder does not need to fight anyone. The colony does the work itself. Once the queen is gone, the intruder reproduces. The true invader is no longer an intruder. It is the future. This is how ideological takeover works. A destructive foreign ideology takes the scent of familiar ideas and walks in as if it belongs. It speaks the native vocabulary, justice, equality, compassion, rights, progress. It uses these words and quietly changes what they point to. Then it moves inward. It alters how foundations are perceived. Responsibility is made to smell like cruelty, law like oppression, borders like hatred, tradition like danger, history like guilt. At that point, the civilization turns on itself. Its courts, universities, churches, media, and bureaucracies begin treating their own foundations as threats. They believe they are defending the system. They are enforcing what now smells legitimate. They do not see the intruder because it sounds exactly like them. And when the founding principles are finally removed, discredited, dismantled, erased, the foreign ideology does not need to conquer anything. It inherits what is left. The queen is gone. The colony is no longer itself. The most effective conquest is the one that convinces a society that its own foundations are the enemy, and that killing them is an act of virtue.

😂 I get why she’s confused, it feels unfair at first glance. But that’s just how tipping works: it’s tied to the bill, not the effort. Whether it’s $50 lobster or $15 burger, the waitress is paid a fair share relative to what customers spend, not what she actually “carried to the table.”

A woman on Instagram said: My husband and I go out to dinner and order lobster dishes at $50 each and the table next to us order burgers at $15 each. Why do we have to leave a bigger tip than the other table when we had the same waitress and got the same service?

@CraigSwann1 @TomKennedy76er @ksorbs Great. Disposable people of low value - while you justify with some nebulous conviction in a made up idea of peace. On what basis do you make claims of her being at peace and can you share on what authority you determine someone’s right to murder? And how do eval worth?

Being direct in a masculine way is actually a mercy. Don’t dance around it. Say what you think. Pull no punches. Be frank and friendly. Say it in love. Don’t qualify everything to death. Don’t make people read between the lines.

Last fall, as my 86-year-old father-in-law lay dying of cancer at his home in Lakeland, Florida, the pool guy told my wife—who was tending to her dad—that he was owed $2,000 for past services. He claimed that he’d left my father-in-law’s check “out in the rain” and it had been ruined. Although distraught over her father’s situation, my wife is a sensible person and asked to see the “ruined” check before writing a new one. Weeks pass, and the pool guy starts to get pretty aggressive about demanding payment, before he finally produces the “ruined” check on which he also claims to have spilled ink (!)—and shows her many other similarly “ruined” checks. My wife logs into her father’s bank account and sees that the check—in perfect condition—had been cashed by the pool guy months earlier. So he’s obviously trying to take advantage of her vulnerable situation to scam her. We were outraged and concerned that he’d pull this stunt on others, so we immediately contacted the Polk County Sheriff’s Department. We were assigned a Detective to whom we presented the evidence: emails demanding payment, the copy of the bogus “ruined” check, and the bank’s copy of the intact check that was cashed. Alas, they’ve now ghosted us since we last reached out 3 months ago asking for an update. And that brings me to my point: I don’t know what’s happened in our country, but our law enforcement agencies and prosecutors seem more interested in doing their paperwork than in actually enforcing the law. I hope we can change this before people stop bothering even to bring wrongdoing to the authorities’ attention, as has happened in many other countries. The rule of law requires enforcement of the law!
