He is by far the best director in this country and Indian cinema is in safe hands because he is leading it. This film stands unapologetic in its beliefs. It is fearless. And beyond everything else, beyond every discussion and interpretation, this film remains what it truly is. A cinematic masterpiece. I say this with full conviction. This film will go on to become the highest grossing Indian film of all time. And there is a certain pride in knowing that a film of this scale and substance will represent Indian cinema for years to come. The most defining duology in Indian cinema now stands complete.
