Laura is spot on. It’s telling that it’s John Ratcliffe — a proven, trustworthy patriot — on the Hill fighting to extend FISA 702, while DNI Tulsi Gabbard is nowhere to be seen. Tulsi spent her entire career railing against this surveillance authority, only to flip the second she needed Tom Cotton’s support for confirmation. That kind of opportunistic reversal is exactly why many of us never trusted her in the first place. The administration clearly views Ratcliffe as the reliable operator on national security. That speaks volumes. Trump deserves consistent, America First voices who don’t play both sides. FISA 702 is a critical tool against real threats — especially radical Islam and foreign espionage — and it shouldn’t be left to flip-floppers. Patriots see the pattern. Tulsi’s past is catching up with her, and this is just more proof.

Interesting how instead of Tulsi Gabbard @TulsiGabbard, it is CIA Director Ratcliffe @DCIARatcliffe who is on the Hill today advocating to extend FISA 702. This is unusual, given that under the First Trump Administration, it was the DNI’s job to lobby Congress to extend the surveillance authority. Tulsi has—for her entire career—lobbied against FISA 702, only flipping when she needed the support of FISA proponent Tom Cotton @SenTomCotton for her Senate confirmation. Maybe the admin views Ratcliffe as more trustworthy than Tulsi. Just an observation.
