I don't believe memecoins will actually onboard anybody anymore. Ask anybody under 35 w/ a net worth of at least $10k if they've heard of memecoins, they all have Who's buying Black Bull that hasn't already bought & burned money on memes before? We're playing the same -EV games, imo it's disastrous for solana. The bull case for solana has to be "Transaction revenue driven by successful onchain businesses who make money on something other than crypto volumes" think: cards, geodnet, helium, stablecoin payments, etc Anything other than this is not accretive long term. We simply aren't in an environment where there's more relevant people "who need to be onboarded through memes" I understand & respect Ansem massively. I believe he's coming at it from a good place: memes are an inherent crypto phenomena that signal broader market trends, *some* people make money on memes, and he can try his best to not rekt people through thoughtful management nonetheless i don't think this will end well. it never does & i'm struggling to see why this time is different
