@jon_d_doe I wish all other African countries can isolate south Africa absolutely. Since they don't need others they should be left to themselves, they shouldn't even travel to other countries even outside Africa. Once there total boycott they will soon turn on themselves

What I grew up to witness as a child was that most married women in my neighborhood were either stay-at-home mothers, running a shop, or had careers that gave them ample time to still be home early.
We had more responsible citizens, fewer crimes and prostitution.
And our economy was doing better than it is today.
End.

@jon_d_doe Nothing but the honest truth high chief; the society made sense and there was a lot of decency back then.... This days all those values have become near extinct.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT: TCN Responds to Inaccurate Capacity Figures Cited in PHEDC Social Media Post
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has noted with concern a social media post published yesterday, April 2, 2026, by the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC), stating that TCN’s transmission wheeling capacity stands at 7,300MW, with an operational capacity of between 4,000MW and 5,000MW.
TCN wishes to firmly correct this intentionally inaccurate information.
First, it’s important to note that the daily output on the national grid is a function of what the DisCos nominate, what the GenCos declare they can generate, and what TCN declares it can wheel. There is a penalty against any of these three players if they fail to meet what they declared.
The question is: “Do the DisCos nominate beyond 4,000MW to 5,000MW?” This is a question for Port Harcourt DisCo to verify before making distracting publications. Every day–ahead, the Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO) looks at what each player declares and tries to strike a balance, which is what is then generated, transmitted, and distributed.
TCN’s Verified Transmission Wheeling Capacity: 8,700MW
The fact is that 8,700MW is the simulated capacity by the Independent System Operator (ISO) when it was still part of TCN. Through sustained, capital-intensive infrastructure investments, including transformer installations, substation construction, and transmission line reconductoring, among others, TCN has progressively expanded its wheeling capacity to a verified 8,700MW. This figure is a matter of public record and reflects TCN’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s grid infrastructure. 7,300MW cited by PHEDC is outdated and no longer representative of TCN’s current capacity. In fact, with several completed and ongoing projects since the last simulation, a new simulation would certainly show increased capacity.
Operational Milestones Contradict the 4,000–5,000MW Claim
Recent, verifiable sector-wide records directly contradict the assertion that TCN can only transmit between 4,000MW and 5,000MW operationally. The Nigerian power sector has, in the first quarter of 2025 alone, achieved three successive peak generation milestones, all of which were successfully transmitted by TCN:
•March 4, 2025: Peak generation of 5,801.84MW at 49.69Hz frequency, with a maximum daily energy dispatch of 128,370.75MWh — the highest peak generation and maximum daily energy ever attained in Nigeria’s power sector history. TCN successfully transmitted this entire output to Distribution Companies (DisCos) during peak hours.
•March 2, 2025: Peak generation of 5,713.60MW and maximum daily energy of 125,542.06MWh, efficiently transmitted by TCN to all distribution load centres.
•February 14, 2025: Peak generation of 5,543.20MW and maximum daily energy of 125,159.48MWh, also successfully wheeled to DisCos by TCN.
These figures, independently documented and publicly verifiable, speak for themselves.
A Call for Accuracy in Power Sector CommunicationTCN acknowledges that Nigeria’s electricity value chain from gas supply through generation, transmission, and distribution to end users is deeply interconnected, and that each stakeholder has a responsibility to communicate accurately about their role alone and where they need to communicate about others, must take steps to verify information before releasing to the public.
Misinformation, however unintentional, undermines public trust, misrepresents sector progress, and may negatively influence policy conversations and investment decisions.
TCN, therefore, calls on all stakeholders to verify information not domiciled with them before publication to ensure their communications accurately reflect the current state of grid infrastructure. TCN remains committed to transparency, collaboration, and the continued growth of Nigeria’s power sector.

BREAKING: Dangote Refinery Increases Petrol Price back to N1,175 Per Litre, Leading Depot Owners to Suspend Sales.
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has revised its petrol price to ₦1,175 per liter once more, resulting in depot operators across different areas pausing their sales temporarily.
The refinery had previously lowered the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) by ₦100, bringing it to ₦1,075 per liter on March 10, 2026, reduced from the earlier price of ₦1,175 per liter. Depot operators, who had started selling at an average price of ₦1,100 per liter, immediately paused their sales transactions due to the refinery's increase in price.
The refinery has temporarily halted loading operations to reconcile stock levels and adjust to the updated pricing framework. This revision is a response to the recent increase in global crude oil prices, which have risen from $91 to $100 per barrel for Brent crude, directly influencing the costs of refining.

Okay, my hyper-focus might have gotten the best of me here but this is where i am right now with PWA gold. I might add a high speed belt later I'm not sure.
Quick run down is that all belts except for the two top belts are inter gender anyone can get it, haha. However, there might be stints where one gender takes over which ever belt for a period before being dethroned by someone else. I particularly love this for the tag belts because it means they can be all men, all women or mixed tag depending on who's the challenger.

••• PRESS RELEASE •••
As the Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory, and as a member of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, I consider it my duty to speak directly to Nigerians on the ongoing work surrounding the Electoral Reform Bill… an effort I have been actively involved in since 2024.
Over the course of 2024 and 2025, the National Assembly undertook an intensive and inclusive process to reform our electoral framework. This process included extensive public hearings and policy retreats conducted by a joint committee of the Senate and the House of Representatives. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) participated consistently, alongside Civil Society Organizations that served as technical partners.
Through rigorous debate, consultation, and consensus building, we produced a comprehensive report that reflected the aspirations and expectations of Nigerians for a stronger and more credible electoral system.
The report was anchored on three clear and deliberate pillars:
•Electronic transmission of election results and real-time upload to the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IREV), to enhance transparency, credibility, and public confidence in elections.
•Recognition of three modes of party primaries which were direct, indirect, and consensus, providing political parties with flexibility within a clearly regulated framework.
•Clearly defined election timelines that work effectively for INEC, political actors, and the Nigerian people, ensuring orderly, transparent, and credible elections.
When this report was presented to the Senate, an ad hoc committee was constituted to review it. The committee’s recommendations were largely aligned with the original report. Notably, about 85% (percent) of Senators supported the electronic transmission of election results.
It is therefore concerning to see widespread reports suggesting that the Senate rejected these reforms or reverted to the provisions of the 2022 Electoral Act. This claim is inaccurate. While the 2022 Act used the term “transfer” of results, the committees after careful deliberation, we specifically recommended that commission SHALL electronically transmit results and upload to the IREV real time, these amendments are documented are still to be done.
At this stage, the harmonization process between the Senate and the House of Representatives is still to be done. A correspondence committee has been constitued to allign both versions into a single final bill.. Although the bill has passed third reading, the final harmonized version is yet to be concluded.
Let me emphasize that this reform process is driven by a genuine commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s democracy and delivering elections that are transparent, credible, and acceptable to the Nigerian people. The final outcome must reflect the will of the people.
I therefore urge all Nigerians to remain calm but actively engaged. Hold your representatives accountable. Reach out to your Senators and Members of the House of Representatives. Demand transparency. Insist that the final Electoral Reform Bill protects your votes and your democratic rights.
We are your representatives. We are your voice. And your will must shape the laws that govern you.
Senator Ireti Heebah Kingibe
Senator, Federal Capital Territory
