@vjgtweets Some of the candidates I visited the temples with were allowed to do exactly that. And that was the entire point of the piece. But I understand you might not want to read it — outrage farming and rage baiting online on a single sentence is far more lucrative.

Typically NO ONE is allowed into the inner sanctum other than the presiding priest. In all my years of going to temples, I've never seen a devotee in there. If you have evidence that a particular temple is literally screening people who request entry, you should name the temple, and I will join you in condemning them. Otherwise, this is just slander.
