I said, “I’m just a girl” to an Italian man and he looked at me like I was crazy and said, “you’re a powerful woman” and now I’ll never use that phrase again

I’m sympathetic with this view point but only to a degree. A lot of people live in contradiction to their desires and it’s worth exploring the reasons. For example many women I mentor want families and a partner but are so caught up in the modern way of hyper independence, skepticism and anti-men rhetoric. Or they work jobs that eat away at their souls because they can’t stomach having to tell someone they’re “just a housewife.” Yes they are what they do but getting them to admit their secret desire and working on a plan to achieve it is not encouraging navel gazing and narcissism.

found a blog with 16,000 subscribers where every post feels AI-written then found a post adamantly denying they use AI… which also reads like AI to me what is happening

I wrote about this exact matter and lost subscribers for it 👏🏽. Some women feel they should be taken “just as they are” and expend very little effort into improving their looks to increase their options in a very tough dating market. When dating, being the chooser is powerful but to be the chooser you have to have OPTIONS to choose from. It’s not male-centric, self-betrayal or internalized misogyny to want a partner. And it’s empowering to do what you can to increase your chances and make your secret dreams a reality open.substack.com/pub/vibrantnon…

Most women underrate how much men care about looks. And when they do try to get more attractive they waste time and effort on tanning, contouring their face, getting their nails done. Instead, almost everyone could be considered attractive if they lost weight, grew their hair long, and cleared up their skin. All these things are within your control. There's other basic advice that should be obvious. Wear makeup everyday and go for a youthful, dewy look. Remove your body hair. Ditch your glasses. For the extreme looksmaxxers, focus on your body. Your face is probably fine and hard to change. Get a boob job, precisely control your weight, and do hourglass-enhancing exercises. You are no longer stuck with the looks God gave you. ariababu.co.uk/p/get-sexier

It’s nice to see more honesty on this matter. I wrote about how some women have to put more effort into their looks to attract a mate and improve their lives and lost about 100 subscribers. Some women seem really offended by the notion that they have to do anything for men these days… Sadly this includes women who want a mate and want a family open.substack.com/pub/vibrantnon…

I have a theory that people who listen to instrumental music or music in languages they don't understand have very loud and chatty internal monologues.

@Furbeti He could’ve had all this if he dated a grown woman. But instead they want children then get mad at the children for not knowing anything 😒

This has always been THE issue. All those women who said they were “focusing on their career” were trying to save face. We all want or wanted relationships but most men did not.” This is why I push women to read “The Case Against the Sexual Revolution.” We need major change in dating attitudes.

We have this program where we hire women who have taken a career break, offer them decent pay and good projects so they can learn..most leave within a year for better pkgs, so technically its a loss for the company..but when someone raised this issue, the european woman leading this initiative just said - “thats the whole point, they deserve to do better”..

@TheOdin_II I’d love to see us all think very differently about fertility. I say use the money to take a sabbatical, lower your cortisol, be available to meet men and date with ease. And have a baby. Egg freezing rates aren’t great especially at that age.

@lyrverse It’s all they know. Like the aunties who’ve only known bad marriages trying to pressure you into early marriage with just about anybody. And after they’ve seen pepper in life and relationships they still try to raise naive, inexperienced young women.

@remikatee @emilykmay On IG I don’t see single women getting kicked down at all, it’s framed as the coolest and chicest thing one can be, especially child-free. I do see SAHMs constantly ridiculed, as well as marriage and motherhood though 🤔

@emilykmay It might be a reaction to feeling kicked while down themselves. Single women are catching a lot of hate online. Neither is right.

@emilykmay So much content framed through the lens of “women’s empowerment” or “uplifting” is just women being assholes. As if marrying a good man who can’t afford to retire you means you married a loser is so awful.

Crazy thought but Amanda is selling herself and her lifestyle very well on the show. They may hate her but she is living her philosophy and I can see how this increases her followers and book sales. Lots of women are woo woo. She’s giving happy, successful and calm. #RHOBH

Remember: Introspection is a trap! You have no particular “interior” or anything, you are just how you are to the world. Obsessing over your inner life is just narcissism. There’s no “there” there. You are what you do. That’s all you are.
