@jakobjelling Maybe not the same work that you did until now. Maybe accept that DR it's just a made up metric and doesn't do anything for your SEO efforts.

Parasite SEO with Substack is crazy Today I published a small article about Entity stacking seo. I sent it to Primeindexer, and in 4 minutes it shot straight to number one in Google! Even outranking many top websites.. This parasite is so powerful, that you dont even need any backlinks to rank it... #parasiteseo #substack #jespernissenseo

@DavidGQuaid 1) you have at least 30 pages on the site. 2) you have backlinks to the site dating back to Feb-March. 3) there is no competition for the keyword because no traffic. More impressive is the guy under you: just 1 page, just 200 words, zero backlinks, and not even an EMD.

A whopping 56% of citations on ChatGPT now go to a brand website. It was 8% with GPT-5.3, but it has now increased 7X with GPT-5.4. The data is from Writesonic, which ran 119 conversations and analyzed 1161 citations.

I've just finished analysing over 6,000 Lovable websites and I found one thing in common. I'll save you thousands of dollars and an endless headache. 1. None of them rank. 2. They all have MAJOR indexing issues because of how they are built. 3. All of them have SEO foundational flaws (incorrect schema, page titles that don't pull through correctly, multiple H1 tags). Sure the website looks pretty. But what good is a nice looking shop on the 15th floor of a warehouse? I'd rather have an ugly shop on a busy high street. Be careful if you're looking to move away from WordPress to an AI vibe-coded website, especially if SEO is your main traffic source. This ain't the way to do it.

Alibaba is hyper scaling their /product-insights/ subfolder using AI - let's see where this ends #SEO Both content & even author information seems all AI generated. They are publishing tonnes of these pages every week.

✍️ Year 2 update I built a small news site a few years ago. Nothing fancy. No VC money, no PR. Just a domain, some content, and a bit of SEO. It was a simple test site for SEO: just add some content, find interesting news topics, write about them, and try to rank. I didn’t expect much. I was testing. Then this evening I opened my inbox and saw an email from Nestlé Not a newsletter. Not marketing. A formal letter from their Communications Lead in Vevey, Switzerland. They’d found an article on my site about their baby formula recall and the Henniez water situation. They wanted corrections. They’d listed every point they disagreed with, with links to their own timelines and PDFs. They’d even clarified that their pesticide levels were “one droplet in an Olympic swimming pool” I sat there and laughed 😂 A $250 billion company. A global PR machine. And they’d noticed a small 37DR site that ranked high enough to matter. Someone had searched, found my article, escalated it, and their comms team had spent time drafting a response. That’s when it hit me: distribution isn’t about budget. It’s about being where people look. I didn’t have a newsroom. I didn’t have journalists. I had a domain, some content, and a bit of SEO. And that was enough to get on their radar. Most people think you need a big brand, a media team, or a huge ad spend to be seen. You don’t. You need to rank for the right things. When you do, the right people find you, including the ones you’re writing about. That’s why I care so much about SEO. Not because it’s clever, but because it works. A small site can compete with big players if it’s built and optimized correctly. And when it ranks, it gets noticed. That’s the same idea behind what we do now: SEO strategy & content (magicspace.agency), link building (linkdr.com), AI search visibility (aiseotracker.com), audits (seoroast.com). It’s all about getting your content in front of people who are already looking. No gatekeepers, no media buys, a $10 domain and just ranking. The Nestlé email was a reminder: if you show up where it matters, even the biggest companies will pay attention.

I love the "drop ur startup link" and "promote your site" posts because it's free research material. Many times you can actually find a good niche or keyword with low competition. Keep them coming 👍

Nearly 90 million search visits wiped out in the last 9 months. And traffic from AI didn't replace even 5% of it. (across ~75k websites connected to free @Ahrefs Web Analytics) Here's how other traffic sources held up: ▪️ Paid traffic is UP 13.8% (188M → 214M) ▪️ Social stayed flat (103M → 105M) ▪️ AI chatbot traffic? Just 4M at its peak Full data breakdown here 👉 chatgpt-vs-google.com Now the big question is: Does search traffic stabilize from here, or do we lose another 15-20% by the end of the year? What's your prediction? ... P.S. Learn more about FREE Web Analytics: ahrefs.com/web-analytics?…
