TCS Nashik Corporate Jihad Case Update: The only Hindu accused in the case, Ashwini Chainani, who helped Tausif, Raza, Shahrukh, and others in hiding the harassment and grooming going on in the office, has been denied bail. Chainani worked as an Associate in TCS & was a part of the internal complaints committee on POSH. Still she took no action against the accused who were team leaders. The court stated, “Her silence endorsed the act of the accused. She turned a blind eye and deaf ear to what was happening.” The court also highlighted how Chainani blamed the victim of Attempting to be in "limelight" when she complained and even asked her to “let go of the accused.” The court further stated that, seeing the influential nature of the accused, it is likely that she may tamper with evidence and influence witnesses if released now. Dozens of Pakistanis besieged the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum on Friday, turning the area into "Athensabad" and defiantly demanding the legalization of their stay in Greece. The central figure in the mobilization was Javed Aslan, the president of the Pakistani Community in Greece, who is facing deportation, called for the legalization of cousin marriage, demanded the opening of hundreds of mosques, and is allegedly involved in running illegal mosques across Athens. The Pakistani protestors demanded the immediate reinstatement of asylum status for those who lost it and the extension of residence permits.
