Whilst I’ve always appreciated the vast curved caverns of the Elizabeth Line aesthetically, they’ve always seemed hugely oversized for the numbers using it that I’ve seen. Until today that is. As the only working line across London today, it handled huge crowds- which I think would have closed any other underground line on safety ground- with ease that allowed trains to keep running as normal. Yet another win for this fantastic piece of infrastructure.

@TLRailUK Where do I put in my claim. Boarded the 10:25am from Blackfriars to Horsham. Train broke down and have been stuck on the train since, with no A/C may I add. We’re now all having to evacuate the train and walk down the tracks to the next platform as the train can’t move.
